Days of Our Lives Fall 2017 Spoilers: JJ’s Story Will Be A Cop’s Worst Nightmare

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for fall 2017 reveal that JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) will go through a cop’s worst nightmare. What kind of storyline does the head writer have in store for the character?

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Ron Carlivati revealed that JJ will be living out every police officer’s worst nightmare. Not only will it affect JJ and the Salem police department, but it will polarize the entire town. What happens will have a ripple effect and it sounds like it is something huge.

“We have a story in the fall that centers around JJ, and he will find himself in a situation where he’s living out a cop’s worst nightmare. It’s going to have a ripple effect, not only in the PD, but it’s going to polarize the town in a big way.”

There are a lot of theories, but there are only a few things that are considered to be a police officer’s worst nightmare. Those include killing an innocent child, killing a partner and being accused of something like racial profiling or a racially motivated shooting.

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers suggest that Theo Carver (Kyler Pettis) ends up with a serious injury later this year. Some are speculating that JJ shoots Theo. This is not something that the detective would do intentionally. However, depending on how the town views it, JJ might be accused of being a white cop that shoots an unarmed black man. This could seriously affect his career, his relationships, and his reputation.

In the past, NBC has shied away from controversial storylines. This is why many years ago, the romance between Valerie Grant (Vanessa Williams) and David Banning never went anywhere. At that time, interracial relationships were still controversial. So, it hard to say if the network will go into a highly debated storyline with JJ.

To complicate matters, JJ has an African-American girlfriend, Lani Price (Sal Stowers.) “Days of Our Lives” spoilers reveal that she will end up pregnant. However, it is anyone’s guess who will be the father of her child. Even though she is dating JJ, she has also had some chemistry with Eli Grant (Lamon Archey.)
