Danny Dyer Top Earner As EastEnders Salaries Revealed

Danny Dyer might be dealing with plenty of personal issues right now, but if there’s one thing he’s not worried about, it’s his paycheck. That’s because the actor is one of the highest-earning cast members on the hit BBC soap drama, Eastenders.

New reports say that Danny, who has been making headlines lately for his alleged affair with Sarah Harding, makes from $260,000 to $325,000 per episode of Eastenders. Actor Adam Woddyatt, who plays Ian Beale, also makes about the same.

Meanwhile, Laurie Brett (who plays Jane Beale), Lindy Henry (Shirley Carter), Scott Maslen (Jack Branning), Letitia Dean (Sharon Mitchell), Tameka Empson (Kim Fox-Hubbard) and Diane Parish (Denise Fox), all earn from $195,000 to $260,00 per episode of the long-running soap.

And even though Eastenders is one of the most popular series on the British small screen right now, their cast don’t make nearly as much as their Casualty counterparts. Casualty star Amanda Mealing makes $390,000 per episode while her co-star Derek Thompson brings home a little bit more at $457,000.

Unsurprisingly though, another top-earning television actor in Britain right now is Peter Capaldi of Doctor Who fame. He commands up to $325,000 per episode of the sci-fi show.  Of course, these actors have made no comments about their reported salaries.
