Coronation Street Spoilers: Tragedy Strikes, Sinead Tinker’s Devastating Miscarriage

“Coronation Street,” residents have had more than their share of heartbreak this year. Now young mother-to-be Sinead Tinker will be the second mother on Corrie to lose a baby. Poor Sinead was just weeks into her first pregnancy when she hears the devastating news.

The show’s Michelle Connor also lost her baby this year; she gave birth to a stillborn child. How much sorrow can the residents of Weatherfield endure?

Sinead was caught by surprise when she learned the news that she was set to become a single mom. The shocking news was complicated by the fact that she recently left her old boyfriend Preston for newbie Daniel; who was the father?

But sadly, Corrie spoilers reveal that Sinead will not get the opportunity to become a mom, at least not yet. In a devastating series of events, Sinead first finds herself in an argument with Daniel’s dad, Ken. Intrusive Ken is almost as shocked as Sinead was, when he discovers that she’s pregnant.

Ken is outraged upon hearing the news that the apple of his eye is about to become a young, unmarried father. In particular, the silver-haired fox is concerned about how impending fatherhood will affect his boy’s collegiate future.

Sinead and Ken don’t see eye to eye about how her pregnancy and relationship with Daniel should be handled. He informs the confused blonde that she needs to cut ties with Daniel, for his sake. Clearly, Ken thinks he is acting in the best interest of his son, but is he, really?

Unfortunately, there are dire consequences to Ken’s meddling. After he lays into young Sinead, she begins to feel unwell. In the end tragedy strikes, as Sinead loses her unborn baby.

According to spoilers, both Daniel and Sinead are shattered when they hear the distressing news. Thus far their new relationship has been tumultuous; will their sudden loss ultimately bring them closer together or send them spiraling in separate directions?
