Coronation Street Spoilers: Tisha Merry Returning to The Cobbles For A Dramatic Storyline

Coronation Street spoilers tease that fans will be seeing a very familiar face soon. New reports indicate that actress Tisha Merry is set to return to Weatherfield after having a secret meeting with the soap’s producers.
According to the Daily Star, Tisha will reprise her role as Steph Britton. The last time fans saw her on the show was back in January. She’s now returning for a new storyline by early next year.

As a matter of fact, one source close to the situation even said, “Producers got in touch with Tisha about a possible return and she jumped at the chance. She’s really excited to be back at Corrie and working with the rest of the cast again.”

Tisha reportedly quit Coronation Street to pursue other projects. She was hoping to star in bigger and better roles but that somehow didn’t happen. And now that Tisha is back on the show that helped make her a household name, fans are hoping that she will stay.

If that weren’t enough, Coronation Street producers have reportedly even offered her character a great storyline that she just couldn’t refuse. From what we know so far, she is going to try and uncover the truth about deranged builder Pat Phelan and all of the murders he’s committed so far. Tisha’s first episode is expected to air sometime in February.

The insider further added: “This is going to be a very dramatic storyline. Pat has been up to no good for a while now but the storyline is coming to a head.”
