‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers: Shona’s Mysterious Storyline Unravels – Who Is The Secret Baby?

“Coronation Street,” fans don’t have long to wait to discover more about mysterious newcomer Shona! This week the pretty young lady reveals something surprising about herself, but will her revelation lead to more questions than answers?

Even though the gig seems to be up about newbie Shona, the show’s tease stops just short of full disclosure!

The beginning of the end to Shona’s secretive past starts when Gail accuses her of theft. When Gail finds out that her purse isn’t in her handbag, she jumps to the conclusion that Shona took it.

When she accuses Shona of taking her purse, David jumps in and agrees with Gail’s conclusion. The two women soon get into a no-win situation, with Shona denying the accusation.

The tension is broken when Roy comes back to the café. Shona reluctantly agrees to show the contents of her handbag to prove she didn’t steal from Gail. But, unknown to the others, Shona pulls a quick move and manages to hide something from public view.

What is Shona so desperate to hide? Spoilers show that Shona has a picture of a bright-eyed toddler in her purse!

Without anyone seeing, the young woman snatches the photo from her bag and tucks it into her pocket.

Of course, the tantalizing clue will only serve to heighten the mystery surrounding secretive Shona. Is the adorable diaper-clad baby hers?

If Shona does indeed have a child, the questions will only multiple! Where is the baby? Is it alive? And why is Shona deliberately hiding the fact that she is a young mother?

Of course, TPTB have a variety of options when it comes to Shona’s storyline. Where they go from here is anyone’s guess. But given her emotional reaction to the picture, the baby surely has significant meaning to Shona.
