Coronation Street Spoilers: Shona Discovers David Responsible For Anna’s Injuries

What is Shona’s agenda now that she’s discovered the gruesome Platt family secret on, “Coronation Street?” What will she do with the explosive (literally!) information that could ruin so many Weatherfield lives?

Mysterious Shona showed up in town over the holidays. What was she doing visiting Kylie Platt’s grave, and why did she steal her widower’s wallet? No one could figure out just what she was up to, or why she was there. But after today they may wish she had never arrived.

Sneaky Shona has eavesdropped on a private and extremely sensitive conversation between Gail and Sarah, after snooping around the Platt household while it was empty. Whatever she was looking to find, she was rewarded in spades.

As the women return and begin discussing the terrible car crash that changed Anna’s life forever, Shona is trapped like a bunny and has no recourse but to hide herself upstairs.

In a shocking disclosure, they discuss David’s involvement in Anna’s injuries. He was the one driving the car that exploded, burning the poor Anna who was innocently walking by. But the plot thickens when the ladies reveal that David was actually on a mission to kill his wife’s murderer, Clayton.

The original plan was to blow up the killer’s prison van, but alas, David crashed and burned his own car first!

Anna was collateral damage, and he subsequently gave her almost £20,000. Unable to keep quiet anymore, Shona signals her presence by making a noise upstairs. Once the jig is up, the ladies demand to know what Shona overheard.

When she asserts that she heard the whole ghastly truth, the two plead for her silence, but Shona remains mysteriously vague about what she will do next.

Sarah and Gail are adamant that David didn’t mean to hurt anyone when he set off on his mission to avenge his wife’s death. But what Shona does next is unclear. Will she hurt the family by revealing their awful secret? Or will she keep silent for a hefty price?
