Coronation Street Spoilers: Shock Corrie Death – Craig Identifies A Body After Bethany Runs Towards Train

Is Coronation Street about to do the unthinkable by killing off one of its hottest stars, currently in the most sensational storyline of recent memory? It would be remarkable for Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) to die now, but all signs point to that possibility.

For months fans have watched transfixed as teenage Bethany navigated her way through a wretched existence as a part of a sex trafficking ring. The young and impressionable woman was groomed by an older, smooth-talking con man who had her believing that they were a couple.

In actuality Bethany was required to have sex with Nathan’s (Christopher Harper) friends, and was at the point of being shipped off to another country before she finally saw the light.

Viewers had big cause for celebration when Bethany finally got the courage to report what had been happening to her. Will her triumph ultimately end in tragedy?

It’s recently been publicized that Bethany will be kidnapped by one of Nathan’s cronies, and taken to the train tracks where she’s menaced and threatened with a large metal bar. It can be revealed that Bethany manages to break free of her captor, but in a shocking twist, she runs straight toward an oncoming train.

Now pictures from the latest on-location filming at the isolated tracks reveal that a tragic train incident occurs. Officials wearing blue safety gloves and shoe protectors, completely covered in white protective uniforms are seen standing next to a makeshift white tent. The tent is erected mere feet from the railroad track, with a body inside.

Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) is also at the site, foreshadowing what may be an ominous ending for his friend Bethany. He has a tortured look on his face after viewing the body, but no clue has been given as to who he has identified. He was the one who convinced Bethany to go to the authorities: will he be the one to confirm that she’s died as a result?
