‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers: Nick And Leanne Split – Ben Price’s Heartbreaking Corrie Exit

“Coronation Street,” fans should brace themselves now for Ben Price’s upcoming exit. Is a shocking end about to befall the beloved character, Nick Tilsley?  It’s no surprise that the actor has decided to leave the soap, but will his exit turn into an expected storyline that no one saw coming?

In an appearance on, “Lorraine,” Jane Danson disclosed that her character will not have a happy ending with Nick.

The paternity of her character’s baby will be a stumbling block that Nick is not able to overcome.

Although Leanne tries her best to assure Nick that he can be a father to her baby, Steve will prove to be a looming concern.

Price’s departure from Corrie is bittersweet for fans who have come to love the character.

But Price has been vocal about his need to spend more time with his family in explaining why he’s chosen to leave the popular show.

According to the 45-year old Price, he currently sees his family only on Saturdays, due to a 200 mile distance between the Corrie set and home. That’s no way to raise a family!

While Price will miss his soap family, he’s looking forward to being a daily part of his real-life family. And who can blame him?

The show let fans know about Price’s departure in January. Because she works so closely with Price, Danson is no doubt doubly affected by his exit.

 “We’ve worked together for the past eight years,” she said, “and we really get on, even though the stories can be quite miserable we’ve had such a good time. He’s a really kind man, he’s a really good man and I’ll miss him a lot.”
