Coronation Street Spoilers: Michelle Gets Revenge On Rival Leanne?

The two once best friends have been in an epic fall out ever since Michelle discovered it was Leanne who slept with her husband Steve on Coronation Street. The affair resulted in a pregnancy and Leanne kept the father a secret not wanting to upset her friend. However, in true soap style it was revealed dramatically and Michelle vowed to get revenge after seeing Steve with his new born son outside her former home the Rovers.

Many fans sympathise with Michelle as she had just been through a very traumatic event, the loss of her own baby.

This was a particularly harrowing story line for many viewers and it meant that her friend giving birth was the ultimate stab in the back. The actress Kim Marsh has said “I don’t see anything being resolved any time soon.”

Leanne has been apologetic several times and has offered an olive branch trying to reconnect but Michelle does nothing but turn her old friend away. Until now. Michelle is sick of seeing happy Leanne with a child she herself could not have and decided it’s time to take revenge.

Coronation Street spoilers have hinted that Michelle will no longer watch them from afar but take control. We have seen her make some bad romantic decisions with Robert and to continue her wedding planning business but how will she get back at Leanna and will it be violent?

It is still unknown whether Michelle can forgive her husband Steve for the epic betrayal. Many fans want the iconic couple back together but not even Kim Marsh is privy to that kind of information. With Robert weaseling his way back into Michelle’s heart is there any hope for Steve McDonald?
