Coronation Street Spoilers: Mary’s Friends Work To Stop Jude and Angie From Leaving Weatherfield

Coronation Street spoilers indicate that Mary’s (Patti Clare) friends are teaming up to help her stop Jude (Paddy Wallace) and Angie (Victoria Ekanoye) from leaving Weatherfield. As a matter of fact, Norris Cole (Malcolm Hebden) and Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) come to the rescue after Jude and Angie tell Mary that they are leaving town to go back to South Africa. For the last few weeks, they have been blaming Mary for their son George’s health issues.

Things get so serious that at one point Tracy manages to get Angie inside the florist showroom just to lock her inside in hopes that she’ll miss her flight to South Africa. If that weren’t enough, Norris also takes matters into his own hands by dressing up as Batman and descending from the factory’s scaffolding holding a sign that says, “Grandfathers 4 Justice.”

And while locals are impressed with their efforts, it might not be enough to convince Jude and Angie to stay put in Weatherfield. Yet, Mary continues to insist that she is not to blame for George’s health problems.

Of course, this isn’t the first time that Jude and Angie have been annoyed with Mary and her antics. Just a few weeks ago Mary tried to supposedly help Angie keep her drinking under control but ended up humiliating her in front of her friends instead. At this point Jude and Angie just want to get away from Mary before she causes more problems for George or worse, causes a rift between them. Yet Mary is willing to do just about anything to keep her son and grandson from leaving the country.
