Coronation Street Spoilers: Lucy Fallon Teases New Romance Storyline For Bethany

Coronation Street spoilers indicate that Bethany Platt might come back with a new romantic storyline, according to actress Lucy Fallon. As a matter of fact, Lucy said that Bethany might end up back on the Cobbles, much to Craig Tinker’s surprise.

Lucy confirmed when speaking to Metro.co.uk that Bethany’s turmoil won’t just go away and the aftermath of her ordeal will always be a part of the character. However, she teased that there could well be a romance storyline in the not too distant future.

The last time fans saw Bethany Platt she was on her way to Milan, leaving Craig Tinker totally heartbroken. Unfortunately, the turmoil she left behind won’t go away. But now there’s a possibility that she might return home from Milan to take care of some loose strings. And according to Lucy, that’s because Bethany doesn’t want to let go of her strong friendship with Craig. He was there for her when she needed someone the most, and that’s something Bethany will never forget. That’s because Craig was determined to help his friend Bethany Platt by bringing Neil Clifton down. Many viewers were impressed with Craig’s integrity and determination to help his friend. He was left disgusted by Neil’s actions and wanted to quit the police force, but Bethany persuaded him not to. That’s when he set out to gather evidence for himself.

Yet, many long-time viewers were appalled after fan favorite Craig was branded as a “plastic policeman” during Bethany’s grooming trial. To make matters worse, he was called a desperate wannabe when he testified in court on Bethany’s behalf. And while they tried to ruin Craig’s character, Neil and Nathan were found guilty of assault.
