Coronation Street spoilers indicate that Liz McDonald is stirring the pot by causing problems for Toyah Battersby at The Rovers. Toyah is worried about the future of the pub after she had a horrible meeting with Tom Ridley last week.
Tom is making Toyah’s problems worse for her by threatening to withdraw Newton & Ridley beer from the pub because of her difficult attitude and her refusal to cooperate with anyone. Liz hears this and tells Tom that he might as well to pull the plug on the beer, causing pub guests to complain about the sudden change in their beer supply. That’s when they ask Liz to talk to Tom to see if she can get him to change his mind.
Of course, this isn’t the first time that Liz has manipulated Tom to her advantage. She says she’ll agree to talk to Tom only if she doesn’t have to clean the toilets, cellar or kitchen anymore. This leaves Toyah absolutely frustrated, but at the same time she doesn’t realize that Liz is actually blackmailing her with her sneaky plains.

Later on, Liz agrees to meet Tom for a romantic dinner. What she doesn’t realize though is that she might be out of a job if the pub’s sales continue to take a hit as she will be the first one to go if Toyah is forced to take matters into her own hands. That’s when Liz tries to come up with a plan to help save The Rovers while trying to make her job at the pub a little easier for herself, too. Now it’s only a matter of getting Tom to agree with it.
