Coronation Street Spoilers: Leanne Battersby Targeted By Chris In New Christmas Nightmare

Coronation Street spoilers indicate that Leanne Battersby’s (Jane Danson) Christmas is going to be anything but merry this year. As a matter of fact, she is going to be newcomer Chris’ (Oliver Walker) victim in a cunning plan that she definitely didn’t see coming.

Now that Leanne is back in Weatherfield, she’s made it no secret that she wants to look for love again. Her mother Stella Price even convinces her to take up online dating, which is something she would never have done on her own. And just when things are finally looking up for her again, things take an unexpected turn.

After a handful of horrible dates and even a few no-shows that leave her heartbroken, Chris shows up. He’s handsome, he’s dashing and he’s everything that Leanne would hope for in a man. Leanne’s sister Eva even urges her to take things to the next level with Chris.

But it’s when Leanne agrees to go on a date with Chris that things go from bad to worse. She doesn’t realize it when Chris swipes her mobile phone from underneath her. When she realizes that he robbed her, Leanne can’t help but wonder why Chris didn’t take any of the other contents of her purse, including her cash and her credit cards. But it won’t take Leanne long to realize that Chris is no prince charming. In fact, he’s quite the opposite as Leanne is in for a nasty surprise that will leave her completely shocked.
