Corrie fans have seen Johnny Connor slowly deteriorate over the past month. The old man’s health has been taking a turn for the worst. At first it was simple things, he started losing his balance. But then he became unable to button up his own clothes or open bottles as his hands were shaking too much. But, now Johnny is going to suffer from a terrible fall, which will unearth his illness to those around him.
What does this mean for his daughter Kate? She would inherit the underworld empire if anything morbid came of this fall. She is concerned for her father and his lacklustre attitude towards his health.
But has she considered what would occur if he did die? Is she ready to take over such a big business?
Kate is in some denial about her father’s condition as she mistakes some of his behaviour as an affair.
Johnny is desperately trying to hide his health and the denial and shame is giving others the wrong impression.

Kate will see her father in a hotel with another woman in this upcoming week but he is doing nothing shady. He is merely getting a massage for the terrible pain he is in.
But, Kate will not see this, she will only see a man she idolizes betraying the trust of everyone around him. This hotel shenanigan will drag down Aiden as well as he booked a room for Mariah.
The two have been in a secret affair. Will his Dad’s illness force him to confess to his illicit love? It seems Kate’s investigation will unearth one of the Connor’s man wrong doings.
