Coronation Street Spoilers: Is Denise Black Returning To Corrie As Denise Osbourne?

Could, “Coronation Street,” soon see a fan favorite pop up on the wildly popular show? It will if Rob Mallard has anything to say about it!

Is Denise Black set to reprise the role of Denise Osbourne on Corrie? According to Mallard, the fact that he might one day work with Osbourne influenced him to take his current role. Mallard plays Daniel Osbourne, Denise’s son.

Denise Osbourne hasn’t been in town for years, but might a return be in the wings now that her son is in trouble? Fans were recently left saddened for the young man as he recounted how his mother left him when he was a teen.

In an interview with Inside Soap, the actor revealed that he is a big fan of Denise and auditioned in the hopes of one day getting to meet her. He enthused that he is absolutely looking forward to the chance to be able to interact with his onscreen mother: “I would love it if she were to come back to Corrie!” he said. No doubt faithful fans would also enjoy seeing a mother and son reunion!

The talented Black was last seen on the soap, “Emmerdale.” Her character, Joanie Dingle, was struck off during a particularly heart wrenching storyline.

Fans of the show saw Joanie die right after she found out that her husband would be returning to his ex-wife.

Now that she is no longer on, “Emmerdale,” is the time right for Osbourne to return to Corrie?

Daniel could certainly use some motherly advice now that he may be set to become a parent himself. His girlfriend, Sinead Tinker, is ready to inform him that she’s pregnant. But in typical soap fashion, the young woman is sure to set off a who’s-the-daddy storyline since she’s not certain if the baby is Daniel’s or her ex-boyfriend’s.
