Coronation Street Spoilers: Gary Windass Leaving Corrie – Mikey North Out?

Coronation Street spoilers tease that Gary Windass (Mikey North) is about to be given an opportunity he just can’t refuse. But sadly, it will take him off our screens for good. Gary was previously in the army and has since suffered from PTSD. He struggled for years but has recently gotten back on his feet. Gary is set to see a ghost from his army past this week, but it will not bring up bad memories but rather grant him a better chance in life.

Coronation Street spoilers indicate that Joe is going to be introduced, he is said to be one of Gary’s old army friends. The two will catch up in the Rovers Return, talking about their shared memories of the forces.

But Joe has an ulterior motive to seeing Gary. He has set up his own business in Ukraine and is asking of Gary wants to move out there and become his employee. The business is in security, something Gary’s army years has prepared him for well. But what will Gary choose to do?

His family and girlfriend live on the street? Will he leave those he loves to better his future or choose to stay?

He has been with Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brian) for a while now and the pair seem to be going alright despite the horrors the Platt’s have faced recently with Bethany. It will be a tough choice for Gary, money and success or love.

Mikey North has been on the soap since 2008 making his stint on the street almost 9 years. It will be a shame to see another good character go if Gary does indeed leave the soap. But with him travelling abroad for work the character has been left open and thankfully not killed off. That always gives the show the opportunity to bring Gary back.
