Coronation Street Spoilers: Fan Favorite Couple Leaving in Shock Exit?

Coronation Street spoilers tease that a fan favorite couple is about to walk out the door. In fact, new reports say that Johnny (Richard Hawley) and Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) might be saying their last goodbyes as they are preparing to move to Spain and leave the cobbles.

Johnny and Jenny had a wedding to remember, but unfortunately, they’ve been struggling financially and it’s been affecting their lives as a newlywed couple. If that weren’t enough, things haven’t been the same since the factory was robbed of all its gear. The stress is getting to them, and that’s why Johnny and Jenny are looking for a change.

Thankfully, Johnny and Jenny are soon getting a much-needed insurance check. It’s a huge relief that they need right now. But unfortunately, Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) discovers the check while going through Johnny’s belongings. She goes back to the kebab shop only to tell everyone that she found the insurance money for the factory. This prompts everyone, including Beth and Izzy to demand answers. They want to know when the factory will reopen now that they have the money to reopen.

Instead, everyone is left shocked when Johnny admits that he is planning to retire and move to Spain with Jenny. To make matters worse, he plans on using the insurance check for their retirement abroad. This is not the kind of news that everyone was hoping for. Aidan is absolutely furious with the news and calls Jenny a gold digger. Johnny comes to his wife’s defense, but only to find that Aidan has turned on him.
