Coronation Street Spoilers: Denise Black Spills Details About Denise Osbourne’s Return

“Coronation Street,” star Denise Black is back onscreen and spilling all of the delicious deets about her character’s scandalous return! Can the wayward mother save her vicious son Daniel before he strikes out again?

Daniel has been exposed as the crazy person who pushed Ken down a flight of stairs. The silver haired fox, Daniel’s own father, nearly died, and suspicion rained down on half the town afterward. Ken is a crotchety old man, and many, many, people had reason to loathe him and his actions toward them.

Now Daniel is being eaten alive by guilt and self-hatred, leading him to ever-more dangerous and sinister behavior. Is it possible that the young man’s recent trend toward self harm will result in his own loss of life? Not if his mom Denise has anything to say about it!

In a recent “Coronation Street,” media day Black talked candidly with the press about the real reason she abandoned Daniel when he was just 15, and gave viewers an inside look at the repentant mother’s return to Corrie.

So, will Daniel’s parents rekindle their old flame? It’s definitely an idea that Black seems on board with when she enthuses, “Well, he’s looking good, isn’t he? But Ken is furious with Denise at first…”

According to Black, Daniel’s mom was flawed when she left him behind. “I think she’s a bit Marmite and you either love her or you hate her. If you look at the fact that Denise has abandoned her son, she’s desperate to be a good woman and get it right this time.” Black continued that she would like to see her character find happiness, and, “I’d love for Daniel to repair himself so he’s not in such danger.”

Black says that she had no idea she would be making a triumphant return to CS after her departure from competing soap, “Emmerdale,” even though the fans were speculating on her return like mad! Welcome back Denise, we missed you!
