Coronation Street Spoilers: Death Fears For Bethany Platt, Leaked Photos Reveal Nathan’s Terror Is Far From Over

On Coronation Street, is Bethany’s (Lucy Fallon) bravery about to cost the traumatized teen her life? Just when you thought Bethany was free of her sex trafficking ordeal, she’s back in danger again.

Showrunners have promised that this controversial storyline is far from over, and it looks like we can take them at their word. Corrie viewers have been on a rollercoaster ride these past few months watching as Nathan groomed vulnerable Bethany to become a part of his illicit sex ring operation.

It was easy for the older, smooth-talking Nathan to pull the wool over schoolgirl Bethany’s eyes. She was flattered by the attention he paid to her, and it took her a long time to finally realize that her “boyfriend” was systematically destroying her life. But it may be too early to breathe a sigh of relief for Bethany, even though she’s reported Nathan to the authorities.

Dramatic photos have surfaced of filming that’s currently taking place on location, and it’s clear that Bethany is still in danger from Nathan. This week the cameras captured Mel (Sonia Ibrahim) and Bethany together outdoors, but it was anything but a picnic for the two women.

Mel was once one of Nathan’s “girls” and she’s remained loyal to him. The shocking photos show Mel pulling Bethany by her hair, as she wields a huge metal rod in her other hand. Clearly Bethany has been taken against her will, to the train tracks, no less. This doesn’t look good! Is Mel trying to scare Bethany away from testifying against Nathan at his upcoming trial? She is the star witness after all, and without her testimony a conviction could be hard to get.

We can’t reveal the outcome of this intense scene just yet, but we can spill that Bethany manages to escape Mel’s clutches. The bad news? The impulsive blonde runs straight into the path of an oncoming train! Viewers can look forward to these scintillating scenes to air sometime this fall.
