Coronation Street Spoilers: Corrie Kicks Off Their Own “Biggest Week Ever”

EastEnders did it and now it’s competitor Coronation Street’s turn to treat viewers to a historic week of epic storytelling. ITV’s Corrie is kicking off a weeklong campaign that promises to be full of heart stopping action, intense conclusions and surprising twists. Ready to get caught up on what’s in store for your Weatherfield faves?

First off there’s a good old-fashioned cat fight in the works. Long suffering Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley), looks set to go through with her wedding even though the groom Aidan Connor (Shayne Ward) confesses to infidelity. But when the mistress, Maria Connor (Samia Longchabon), has the nerve to show up to the nuptials, all heck breaks loose; you can imagine the rest!

Meanwhile Eva’s been up to her own shenanigans by conniving with Adam Barlow (Samuel Robertson). How will their scheme to ruin the Connors fall out? Let’s just say that the family are shocked when the police show up at Underworld, and deliver some stunning news.

Fans have watched in dismay as Rita Sullivan (Barbara Knox) slips father away from them. She and her loved ones will panic when Rita takes matters into her own hands while in the hospital. But as dire as her own actions are, the subsequent diagnosis could prove shattering for all concerned.

Elsewhere, Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) and Will Chatterton’s (Leon Ockenden) stalker drama comes to a sudden and dangerous head. Michelle’s suspicions about Will being the stalker will be confirmed by evidence she finds in his apartment. But will she live to tell the tale?

New blood will appear on the cobbles in the form of Jim Moir, AKA Vic Reeves. The comedian will star as Colin, a mysterious factor in the Mr. and Mrs. Competition that Mary (Patti Clare) and Norris (Malcolm Hebden) enter.
