Coronation Street Shocker: Jack P. Shepherd’s Pay Revealed

There’s no question that the Coronation Street cast is a talented group of actors, but what always is questioned is how much ITV is dishing out for their paychecks. It turns out one of the highest paid actors on the show is not someone you may have expected.

Corrie fan favorite Jack Shepherd recently inked a new deal and contract with the popular soap opera, and he is locked in until December 2018.  No shocker there, Shepherd has been playing the part of David Platt for over 15 years, of course they want to keep him around.  But, it’s how much he is being paid that has raised a few eyebrows.

According to The Sun, Jack was given a 20,000 raise, and is now raking in £220k for the next year.  The tabloid revealed Shepherd “is the highest paid younger generation actor on the soap raking in £70,000 more than colleagues Simon Gregson and Kym Marsh.”
