Coronation Street News: Strictly Come Dancing’s Giovanni Pernice Slams Katie McGlynn Romance Rumors

Here’s some good news for all the single ladies out there: “Strictly Come Dancing,” star Giovanni Pernice wants you to know that he is most definitely single and ready to mingle! The Italian Stallion went on record confirming his availability amidst rumors that he’s dating a popular ITV soap actress.

It’s been reported that 26-year old Pernice is keeping company with, “Coronation Street,” actress Katie McGlynn. But according to the dancing star, nothing could be further from the truth!

“I am absolutely single,” he told The Sun. “I am just focusing on my job and my tour. At this moment I am not with anybody, I’m just single.” 

Katie plays Sinead Tinker on the soap, and is friends with Pernice’s ex-girlfriend Georgia May Foote. But Pernice maintains that he and blond bombshell McGlynn simply know one another due to their television careers.

“But we are not dating, he said. “On that night (which sparked rumours) we were all together with the other 17 people in the party, we were not dating at all.” 

Ok, we’re ready to take him at his word, even though he sounds as if he’s protesting maybe just a little bit too much?

What Pernice doesn’t deny is remaining on friendly terms with Foote. In fact, Pernice was eager to credit his ex for helping him to spruce up his appearance!

Pernice divulged that Foote encouraged him to improve his already dazzling smile, advice he took her up on. To that end he is wearing invisible braces, and promises that his smile will be even more brilliant thanks to the dental device!

“Strictly,” fans are looking forward to having their favorite hoofer back on screen, but Pernice hasn’t yet made a decision. He’s said that he would like to return to the breakout hit, but won’t have an answer until June at the latest.

Pernice is currently in rehearsals for, Dance is Life, a stage show set to debut next month. The solo show will feature Pernice’s amazing dance talent and opens in Coventry.
