Coronation Street News: Ian Kelsey Returns To Corrie

Ian Kelsey is no newbie when it comes to soap acting. His career began way back in 1994 when he played Dave Glover in Emmerdale. The role was only two years long but it made him famous. In 1999 he began playing Patrick Spiller in Casualty, arguably his most famous role. He played Patrick until 2002.

Not only that but he has appeared on Holby City, Men Behaving Badly and Hotel Babylon. He is a veteran of British Telly. Ian is married to Mia Michaels, a singer. But their relationship was reported to on the rocks last year. They have two children together. Ian is fifty years of age and originally from York. Not only is Ian a screen actor but he has appeared in two stage productions.

The Shawshank Redemption and Legally Blonde. His most recent role was Howard Bellamy in Doctors, which only ended in 2015.But you may know him from his role as Vinny Ashford in Coronation Street, Ian made his cobbles debut last year and was a hit. It has been released that Vinny is returning to Corrie in the coming months. He has been spotted filming on set.

Vinny was last seen leaving Weatherfield in a rather sneaky way, he left with a lot of money and left his scam partner Pat (Connor Mclntyre) in the dark. Vinny is definitely a sketchy character, we saw him making underhand deals and tricking his co-workers with ease. What prompted his return after a successful get away?

We will have to wait until next month to find out. But it is guaranteed that his reunion will not be a happy one. With Pat being the sinister man he is, the two are likely to be at each others throats.
