Coronation Street Bruno Langley Pleads Guilty To Sexually Assaulting Two Women

Coronation Street star Bruno Langley, who plays Todd Grimshaw on the hit ITV soap, has plead guilty to sexually assaulting two different women at a music venue in Manchester, England back in October. Reports indicate that the television actor was “clearly intoxicated” when he allegedly groped the two women inside a cloakroom.

Reports say that the 34-year-old actor sexually assaulted the women at the Band on the Wall music venue. Bruno’s family members attended his court proceeding. He was told that he could face a possible jail sentence for the assaults.

Soon after Bruno made headlines for the alleged assaults, he was immediately fired from Coronation Street. Bruno has been playing Todd Grimshaw on Corrie since 2001 and is currently involved in several storylines. A spokesperson for Coronation Street confirmed that he is no longer on contract with the show, despite the fact that he is involved in several different storylines right now.

As many Coronation Street fans know, Bruno has been playing the openly gay character Todd Grimshaw for well over a decade now. Just recently, his character discovered the brutal truth about his partner Billy Mayhew’s past. After doing a little research on his own, he discovered that Billy might have been the one that killed Susan Barlow in a hit and run after he robbed a nearby bank. Producers have revealed that Bruno’s last episode will air on Christmas Eve.

Bruno released a statement thanking the cast and crew of Coronation Street right after he was charged in October. “I would like to thank all of my friends who work on the show for their love, friendship and support during this extremely difficult period,” he said.
