CONFIRMED: Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Eileen Davidson’s Return as Susan Banks

Days of Our Lives spoilers for November sweeps previously revealed that Eileen Davidson was returning. However, her role was a mystery until now. It has been confirmed that it is not Kristen DiMera that is coming back, but Susan Banks.

There were a lot of assumptions on Davidson’s return, including exactly when she would be seen. It was speculated that she wouldn’t appear until late November. Lucky for us, it appears that she might be appearing much sooner.

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for the next two weeks reveal that three Salemites are shocked when facing someone from the past. It sounds like Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney,) John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will face Susan.

Specific details regarding Eileen Davidson’s return to “DOOL” have been kept under wraps. However, it seems that she will be a big part of the Memphis storyline. Just how is Susan Banks tied to Will Horton (Chandler Massey?) What does she know and to what extent is she involved in his resurrection? Who else has she been injecting with mysterious substances in morgues across the country?

The last time Eileen Davidson was seen on the NBC soap was in 2015. At that time, Kristen DiMera had stolen Theresa Donovan’s (Jen Lilley) fetus. Having it implanted in her own body, she gave birth to Tate. Eventually, the truth was exposed and surprisingly, it was Marlena that killed the woman. However, her body was never recovered.

September 30, 2014, marked the last time Davidson portrayed Susan. While John was in the hospital, she visited him and left him a photo of their “almost wedding.”

At that time, she also insisted that her “firstborn” was in grave danger. This led fans to speculated that she had other children. As suddenly as she appeared, she left town.

The actress has played other characters besides Kristen and Susan. She was also cast as Sister Mary Moira Banks, Thomas Banks, and Penelope Kent.
