Adam Thomas Confirms Emmerdale Exit – Adam Barton To Be Killed Off?

‘Emmerdale’ fans are dealing with some rather disappointing news this week. New reports indicate that fan favorite Adam Thomas is leaving the show after months of speculation about the future of his role as Adam Thomas. Adam Thomas has been playing Adam Barton for over eight years now.

‘Emmerdale’ producers made the announcement on their official web site. Adam added a statement to fans that said, “I’ve had an amazing eight years working on Emmerdale and I’ve loved every minute of it. It was a really tough decision to take to leave but I felt that now is the time to move on and challenge myself with some new roles.”

He added, “I’d like to thank everyone at Emmerdale for both giving me the opportunity to to work as part of such a great team and for giving my character Adam Barton some great storylines too.”

Right now Adam is dealing with plenty of issues in his personal life as she’s trying to win back his wife, Victoria after a messy cheating scandal.

A lot of fans can’t help but wonder if the pair will reunite before Adam’s departure. Some fans believe that Ian might also die as producers are promising a “massive” scene for him before he leaves for good.

So far Adam hasn’t many any additional comments about his ‘Emmerdale’ exit or what he plans on doing next for that matter. Many believe that he might be returning to the small screen to host his own talk show, but those rumors haven’t been confirmed yet. Whatever he decides to do, it’s without a doubt that fans will definitely miss him as Adam Barton.
