‘Twin Peaks’ News: Soap Opera Stars Ray Wise, Amanda Seyfried, Bailey Chase And More Join Massive Cast

For those who have been waiting for ‘Twin Peaks’ news, the full cast packed with soap opera stars has been revealed. The new cast of the rebooted series has 217 stars that include the series original cast members Kyle MacLachlan, Sherilyn Fenn, Mädchen Amick, Ray Wise and David Duchovny. Other current famous faces will join the original cast members to deliver some small town mystery including Michael Cera, Monica Bellucci, Jim Belushi, Tim Roth, Robert Forster, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Ashley Judd, Amanda Seyfried and Naomi Watts.

Fellow returning ‘Twin Peaks’ stars include: Dana Ashbrook, Phoebe Augustine, Richard Beymer, Scott Coffey, Catherine E. Coulson, Julee Cruise, Jan D’Arcy, Miguel Ferrer, Warren Frost, Harry Goaz, Andrea Hays, Gary Herschberger, Michael Horse, David Patrick Kelly, Sheryl Lee, Peggy Lipton, Bellina Martin Logan, David Lynch, James Marshall, Everett McGill, Walter Olkewicz, Kimmy Robertson, Wendy Robie, Marv Rosand, Carlton Lee Russell, Harry Dean Stanton, Charlotte Stewart, Al Strobel, Russ Tamblyn, Ray Wise, Alicia Witt, and Grace Zabriskie.

It’s amazing how many celebrities have gotten their start from daytime soaps. This remake of ‘Twin Peaks’ is packed with soap stars and celebs who were launched into fame thanks to soap operas. You can catch Bailey Chase, former Chris from ‘As The World Turns’, joins ex-Joni from ‘All My Chidren’ Amanda Seyfried, Matt Battaglia who was J.L. from ‘Days of Our Lives,’ and Nafessa Williams (ex-Deanna, ‘One Life to Live.’)  Don’t forget Demi Moore’s first role on ‘General Hospital’ either.  And, of course, Ray Wise, the man we all love to hate on ‘The Young And The Restless.’

The teaser trailer for ‘Twin Peaks’ revival features the voice of a man talking over scenic shots of the Pacific Northwest warning, “There’s a lot of holy places up here. I can’t put my finger on how I would describe it. It just touches something in the psyche.”
