‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Week Of Sept 5-9: Victor Doubts Himself – Enraged Nick Accuses Victor Of Killing Adam – Chelsea Slips Into Depression

‘The Young and the Restless’ spoilers for the week of September 5 through September 9 reveal how the Newman family, and the rest of Genoa City, deal with the aftermath of Adam Newman’s [Justin Hartley] horrific death. Chelsea Newman [Melissa Claire Egan] will witness the cabin explosion and it will shake the love of Adam’s life to her very core.

Victor Newman [Eric Braeden] is perhaps at the most vulnerable point he has ever been. An enraged Nick Newman [Joshua Morrow] will face off against Victor following the cabin explosion, which Nick suspects was intentional.

“How can you kill your own son?” Nick demands as Nikki Newman [Melody Thomas Scott] stands by helplessly. Nick may turn against his father, and rightfully so, but the tragedy may bring Victoria Newman [Amelia Heinle] and Victor closer together.

‘Y&R’ spoilers for the week of September 5-9 show an obviously distraught Victor holding Victoria in his arms. “Sometimes I wonder about the decisions I make in life,” Victor tearfully admits to Victoria. Does this mean that Victor will accept Travis Crawford [Michael Roark] or will the mogul continue to believe Travis has an agenda when it comes to Victoria?

Chloe Mitchell [Elizabeth Hendrickson] will comfort Chelsea who is hanging on by a thread. If it weren’t for Connor Newman [Gunner and Ryder Gadbois] would Chelsea have the will to go on after losing Adam yet again?

“Connor’s being so brave, so are you,” Chloe says in an attempt to comfort Chelsea. “No, this isn’t brave. This is putting one foot in front of the other,” Chelsea tells Chloe. At the end of ‘The Young and the Restless’ spoiler video for the week of September 5-9 Chelsea can be heard saying, “How could he leave us?”

‘The Young and the Restless’ will face a somber week as the spoiler video shows. “After the tragedy how does a family pick up the pieces?” the promo asks.

How will the Newman family move forward? Will they rely on each other for comfort or has Victor finally destroyed all he holds dear forever? Will Chelsea sink deeper and deeper into the darkness of depression?
