‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday June 8: Ian Lies About Victor’s Confession – Lab Tech Who Could Save Adam Dead – Luca Squeals on Victoria

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, June 8, tease that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will have a chat with Michael (Christian LeBlanc). At the penthouse, Chelsea gives Michael updates on Adam’s (Justin Hartley) visit with Ian (Ray Wise). Michael doesn’t really approve, but Chelsea insists that they need someone of Ian’s caliber to go up against Victor (Eric Braeden). Michael admits that it might be helpful if Ian can get Victor’s admission of guilt.
Meanwhile, Dylan (Steve Burton) and Paul (Doug Davidson) get a lead on the person who may have taken Victor’s bribe. They leave Sharon’s (Sharon Case) place to ask him a few questions. In the slammer, Ian fibs to Adam. He says Victor spilled everything and boasted about the setup. Adam is pleased and wants Ian to give a statement.
Ian feels like he deserves a reward for his hard work. Adam wonders what Ian has in mind. Later, Adam comes home to relay the news to Chelsea and Michael. He states that Ian has requested relocation to a minimum security prison. Michael is wary of Ian and his twisted ways.

After Michael leaves, Adam and Chelsea discuss the possibility of beating Victor. They’re in good spirits and eventually make love. Once they’re done, Chelsea’s worries return. Adam offers reassurance and vows that he won’t seek vengeance. He just wants Victor to stay locked up. Chelsea agrees that it’s the best revenge.
At Crimson Lights, Paul and Dylan grill a lab tech about the autopsy results. They question the people who had control of the sample and mention all of the lab tech’s recent purchases. He’s apparently been throwing money around lately. The lab tech figures out that they suspect he was paid off, but he claims he didn’t do anything wrong.
Afterward, Michael shows up. Dylan and Paul admit they’re working on getting some solid proof against Victor. Michael seems happy that they’re all in agreement and heads over to the state pen. Ian learns his demands are being met and he’ll be transferred soon. Michael wants to take his deposition, but Ian insists on giving his statement in court.
At Newman Enterprises, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) continues to defend Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva). Nick (Joshua Morrow) looks concerned, but Victoria maintains that there’s no blackmail plot going on. Luca steps in the room and backs up Victoria. Nick isn’t persuaded, but he departs anyway. Victoria tells Luca that she hopes she didn’t just lie to her brother. Luca insists he’s trustworthy and wants to help.

Later, Nick speaks with Luca in private and wants him to come clean. Luca brings up Travis (Michael Roark) and suggests that Victoria has been distracted by him. Nick sees pictures of them together on Luca’s tablet. Luca thinks Travis could cause trouble. Nick wants Luca to back off and let him handle this. Once Nick takes off, Luca does some digging and learns Travis used to work on Wall Street. He has a few skeletons in his closet.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Victoria will try to patch things up with Travis. She’ll be sorry that she deceived him, but she’ll admit she enjoyed being “Tori.” Victoria liked being able to forget her cares while dancing and drinking with Travis. He seems hesitant to start over, but Victoria indicates that the spark they shared was very real.
Travis eventually comes around on the idea and they begin to dance. Nick arrives to find them holding each other close. He points out that this is where Victoria has been hiding.
Elsewhere, Paul calls Dylan to fill him in on a shocking development. It’s about the lab tech they spoke to earlier. It appears the man killed himself. Y&R rumors hint that this apparent suicide could make Adam’s battle a bit tougher. Stick with the CBS soap to see if more obstacles are on the way.
