‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, December 21: Faith Makes Shocking Choice – Gloria Blasts Chloe, Demands To Know Bella’s Father – Sharon Devastated

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, December 21, tease that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will be concerned about Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind). At the ranch, Victor (Eric Braeden) offers reassurance. He thinks everything will get worked out soon. When Faith comes downstairs, she suggests that she isn’t sure which home to go to.

At The Underground, Nick (Joshua Morrow) gets some advice. Noah (Robert Adamson) admits that he understands the difficulties Faith is facing. He feels like Nick and Sharon (Sharon Case) need to get a grip on their conflict before it goes any further.

At Sharon’s place, she fears that Nick will use the Newman influence to keep Faith away. Sharon hates that she lied to Nick and caused so many problems. Dylan (Steve Burton) promises Sharon that Faith will still be in her life. After Dylan heads to the police station, Nick arrives. They start bickering, but they eventually come up with a schedule.

Nick, Sharon and Dylan all show up at the ranch later. They announce that they’ve reached an agreement about where Faith should stay and when. Victor returns from the stables and notes that Faith wants to be alone. He thinks Faith should be included in any conversations about her living arrangements.

Noah walks in and supports Victor’s stance. Faith comes inside after eavesdropping and confesses that she doesn’t like their plan. Victor states that Faith should tell her parents where she wants to stay. Nikki is shocked when Faith says she’d like to stay there with her grandparents. Victor looks pleased by Faith’s choice.

Nick and Sharon aren’t on board with the idea, but Dylan and Noah think it’s OK. They point out that it will likely be a short-term visit. Victor and Nikki are happy to have Faith, so Sharon and Nick give their consent. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers hint that Faith’s decision will shake things up a bit.

In the meantime, Esther (Kate Linder) has a chat with Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) at Crimson Lights. Kevin (Greg Rikaart) arrives as Esther shares news about her job. She quit her current gig and will be helping out Jill (Jess Walton) again.

Across town, Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) gets updates on some sales numbers at work. Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren find a huge Christmas present. They’re about to open it when Gloria (Judith Chapman) pops out. She joyfully greets them and steps out of the room to fix her hair.

Lauren wonders how Michael got on the naughty list. When Kevin drops by with Chloe and Bella, Gloria returns and causes a scene. She rips into Chloe, but Kevin rushes to her defense. Michael thinks they could all use a drink. He serves up some alcohol while Kevin and Gloria snap at each other.

Gloria catches up with Chloe again and demands to know who Bella belongs to. Once Esther walks through the door with Christmas goodies, she gets in on the confrontation. Chloe and Esther soon exit the battle, but Kevin insists on giving Gloria a piece of his mind. She doesn’t like the criticism and ends up ranting at Michael.

It sounds like the holiday drama is heating up. Y&R rumors hint that Gloria will continue to stir the pot for several characters. Stick with the CBS soap to see how everything plays out.
