‘The Young and The Restless’ Spoilers: Vickie Tells Travis To Stick Around – Tricky Back in Business

Travis (Michael Roark) told Vickie (Amelia Heinle) that he wanted to give her space on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Then, after he went to her home, packed his bags and was ready to leave she told him to wait. Vickie claimed that she was beyond Billy (Jason Thompson) and wanted Travis to stay, to which he instantly agreed.

‘Tricky’ was teased earlier this year. A new setting magically appeared one day. It was a local tavern, where Vickie went to get away from the turmoil in her life. At the time her father, Victor (Eric Braeden), was in prison and she was temporarily in charge of Newman Enterprises.

Time passed and eventually Travis learned that the woman who called herself Tori was actually Victoria Newman. Vickie learned that Travis was a former Wall Street trader and that he might have betrayed her trust by sabotaging her family’s company. But, the snake who was actually behind that damage wasn’t named Crawford. Instead his formal moniker was Mr. Santori (Miles Gaston Villanueva).

Fast-forward to the first few days of fall, Travis has since returned from his voyage around the world on ‘Old Blue Eyes’. That was the boat he christened in Vickie’s honor. Travis came back after his potential girlfriend made an in-person visit off the gulf of Mexico. She requested that Travis tell Summer (Hunter King) all about Luca, which he did.

Vickie is happier than she’s been in years and that makes perfect sense. The sun came out as soon as she made a decision to distance her heart from Billy’s. Yes, they have children together and co-parenting has generally worked well. But, ‘Villy’ wasn’t in the cards, especially now that ‘Philly’ has been revealed to the world.

Travis likely has his own issues. But, as long as he’s not secretly scheming against the Newman family, he and Vickie should be at the beginning of a good relationship. Sometimes a pairing just looks and feels right. That’s true in this case and light-hearted viewers surely wish this couple well.
