Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) prances into Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) office to deliver a fresh scone. He gives her the usual spiel about how lucky he is to have her in his life. Jack mentions the idea of having dinner together later.
After Jack exits, Billy shows up to see what Phyllis decided. She reminds Billy that he said she could take her time. Billy is tired of Phyllis dragging her feet. The waiting is awful and they’re just delaying the inevitable. Billy thinks Phyllis should just be honest and get it over with.

Elsewhere, Devon (Bryton James) tries to get through to Hilary (Mishael Morgan). He wants to stand by her and insists he can see past her nasty attitude. Devon says he sees a little girl who hoped to be a dancer when he looks in her eyes. Hilary rejects the notion. She thinks Devon just wants to save his wallet some pain.
After their tense encounter, Devon opens up to Neil (Kristoff St. John) about his lack of progress. When Devon admits he still feels connected to Hilary, Neil points out that maybe they should really get back together. Devon suggests that Hilary’s treatment might be affecting her behavior.
Jack finds Dr. Neville (Michael E. Knight) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) talking about the cure. They claim the treatment is working perfectly and Hilary is on the road to recovery. Jack examines the test results and rushes off to see Hilary.

After Jack departs, Hilary finds Devon downstairs and faints. He catches Hilary as she collapses. Hilary is taken to the hospital to get checked out. Neil and Devon quiz Dr. Neville about what’s going on. Ashley is interested, too. They eventually learn that Hilary’s health is rapidly deteriorating. It seems she’s suffered another major setback.
At Newman, Travis (Michael Roark) offers a warning to Victoria (Amelia Heinle). He doesn’t think she should be so quick to trust Victor (Eric Braeden). Victoria isn’t certain of Victor’s motives, but she remains hopeful that he truly wants forgiveness. She’s trying to secure his freedom along with the other Newmans. Travis isn’t sure that’s a good idea.
Once Travis is gone, Luca and Summer pop in. They chime in with their thoughts on Newman’s crisis, but Victoria gets fed up and leaves. Summer and Luca debate how Victoria is handling the business right now. Luca suggests his way is better and Summer seems inclined to trust him again. They take a look at the latest news and realize that Newman’s workers are turning their backs on the company.
At Hank’s bar, Victoria comes to see Travis. She suggests she’s been acting like Victor lately. They kiss and end up getting busy on the pool table. Later, Travis asks Victoria to begin a new life with him somewhere else.
At Phyllis’ office, Jack returns and requests a lunch date. Phyllis turns Jack down and says there’s something she needs to tell him. Will Phyllis admit that she cheated? We’ll have to wait and see, but Y&R rumors hint that issues are definitely going to emerge. Stick with the CBS soap to see what happens next.
