‘The Young and The Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday January 12: John Counsels Jack, He Decides To Take Billy Off Life Support – Victor Blasts Nikki – Devon Rips Into Neil

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, January 12, tease that Jack (Peter Bergman) will wrestle with a tough choice. At the hospital, Jack tells Jill (Jess Walton) that he doesn’t think Dr. Neville’s (Michael E. Knight) treatment will work. Jill brings up the experimental treatment that helped Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). Jill pleads with Jack to let Billy (Burgess Jenkins) live.

Jack talks over Billy’s will with Michael (Christian LeBlanc). He also turns to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) for advice. Victoria thinks Billy wouldn’t want to live his life hooked up to machines. Jack announces that he wants to be alone for a while.
Jill and Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) discuss the situation in Billy’s room. Jill doesn’t understand why Billy wouldn’t want her to have power of attorney, but Lauren points out that he wanted to spare her the pain. Phyllis comes in and urges Billy to return to his loved ones. Victoria sobs as she demands that Billy wake up.

Jack sits in the waiting area and thinks about what he’s going to do. John (Jerry Douglas) appears and tells Jack that whatever decision he makes needs to come from a place of love. John adds that he’ll show Billy the way if Jack chooses to let him go.

At the athletic club, Lily (Christel Khalil) tries to figure out if Cane (Daniel Goddard) is ready to reconcile. Cane confesses that Christmas was nice, but he doesn’t want to reunite. At a table nearby, Victor (Eric Braeden) grills Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) about her relationship with Neil (Kristoff St. John). He wonders if there’s an affair going on. Nikki snaps that they’re good friends and Victor is always busy.

Victor defends his need to be at work all the time. This deal is for the family. Nikki gripes that Victor is taking advantage of Billy’s misfortune while Victoria is trying to grieve. Victor makes a comment about Nikki getting a suite with Neil and he storms out.

At the hospital, Victor shows up and tells Jack he isn’t there to fight with him. He thinks Jack will make the choice that’s best. Phyllis, Victoria and Jill walk over for updates on Jack’s decision. Jack says he loves Billy and he wants to respect his wishes. That’s why he’s telling the doctors to take Billy off life support. Jill is completely distraught when she hears Jack’s news.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Devon (Bryton James) will rush off after spotting Neil and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) making love. After Neil and Hilary finish, Neil says it was a mistake. Hilary disagrees and insists that Neil should stop fighting her on this. She doesn’t want Devon and she never will. Neil brings up Nikki, but Hilary knows there’s nothing going on between them. Hilary states that Neil should choose their real love instead.

Lily and Cane see Devon chugging drinks to numb his pain. They question him and he spills what he saw. Devon feels like Neil is getting payback. Lily leaves and ends up confronting Hilary. She indicates that Hilary hasn’t changed at all. Hilary wonders how Lily found out she had sex with Neil. Lily replies that Devon saw them.

Hilary defends her actions by saying that she’s in love with Neil. She hints that Devon already knew that. Hilary tells Lily she needs to focus on fixing her own marriage. Lily snaps back that she wishes Hilary were still at the bottom of the cliff.
Back at the athletic club, Neil walks in and Devon flies into a rage. Cane holds Devon back as Neil tries to explain. Devon basically says that Neil isn’t his father anymore. When Devon stomps off, Neil asks Cane to go talk to him. Cane catches up with Devon and they open up to each other about their relationship struggles. Devon admits that he still thinks Hilary is his soulmate and he won’t stop fighting for her.

Meanwhile, Nikki finds Neil and he tells her about his love session with Hilary. Neil regrets what he did. Nikki mentions Victor’s jealousy over their fake affair. She liked it and wants to keep up the ruse. Y&R rumors suggest that this could lead to more trouble. Stick with the CBS soap to see the drama ahead.
