‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday August 23: Nick Urges Nikki to See Victor’s Cruelty – Victor Vows to Help Adam – Dylan and Abby Get Startling News

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, August 23, tease that Dylan (Steve Burton) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) will hear some startling news. They’ll learn that the guard Adam (Justin Hartley) attacked has slipped into a coma. Dylan will feel terrible that Adam ended up in this situation. If he had found the evidence sooner, this tragic outcome could’ve been avoided.

Nevertheless, what’s done is done. There’s no going back and now Adam may have to face the consequences. Since Adam pleads guilty in Monday’s Y&R episode, he’ll be looking at more prison time. The warden warned that Adam could be behind bars for up to 10 years.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) isn’t happy about the trauma Adam has faced thanks to Victor. Adam really started to lose it in the state pen. It’s Victor’s fault that Adam was so distraught and unwell. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Nick want Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) to understand that Victor is responsible for Adam’s downfall.

Nikki will defend her husband, but Nick will insist that Victor targeted Adam with a vengeful plot. He’ll think Victor wanted Adam to know who the boss was. Victor is the reason Adam was taken from his family and Nick is truly fed up with his father.

Although Victor has done plenty of dreadful things in the past, Nikki seems to think he’s finally changed. Maybe it’s simply wishful thinking on Nikki’s part. Life was too hard without Victor by her side. Perhaps it’s easier for Nikki to pretend Victor is the new man he claims to be.

Nikki may have convinced herself that Victor is telling the truth for once. Some of the Newmans can be a little naïve. Just look at Summer (Hunter King). She’s certainly falling for Luca’s (Miles Gaston Villanueva) lies at the moment.

Victor will plan on securing Adam’s freedom and stopping Summer’s wedding. Can he handle both of these schemes at the same time? Victor is going to be a busy man over the next few weeks. “The Young and the Restless” rumors hint that several surprises are in store.

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will continue to gripe about the destruction Victor brought on her family, but he’ll assure her that he’s going to do everything in his power to help Adam.
