‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday August 2: Natalie Jealous Of Chloe, Paternity Results In – Ashley and Hilary Fight – Nick Wants Answers

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, August 2, tease that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will try to get Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) to open up. At the penthouse, Bella (Cali May Kinder) and Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) play together. Chloe and Chelsea talk as they watch nearby. They note that Bella’s laugh sounds a lot like Delia’s (Sophie Pollono).

Chloe recalls how hard Delia fought when she had leukemia. When Chelsea drops a few hints, Chloe admits that she held Adam responsible for Delia’s death. She wanted him dead, too. However, Chloe tearfully adds that she now understands it was simply an accident. Chelsea indicates that she’s glad payback is no longer on Chloe’s mind. They share a warm embrace.

At Crimson Lights, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) appreciates Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) support as he waits for the DNA results. Natalie (Mara McCaffray) shows up and Kevin gives her updates on the Bella situation. He heads off to make a phone call to the lab.

Natalie seems like she’s dreading the results. She doesn’t want Kevin to be tied to his ex. Mariah points out that it doesn’t matter. Part of Kevin will always love Chloe. When Kevin returns, Natalie wonders if he wants to get back together with his former flame. Kevin implies that he’s let go of what he had with Chloe.

At the athletic club pool, Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Stitch (Sean Carrigan) try to stay positive about the future. Downstairs, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) tells Devon (Bryton James) and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) that they’re being sued for fraud. The project definitely didn’t turn out like any of them planned. Devon wants to settle, but Hilary insists that they can win the case in court.

Ashley sides with Devon and urges Hilary to stop letting her ego get in the way. Ash wants Devon to act fast before the media runs with the story. After Ashley leaves, Devon tries to get Hilary on board with his way of thinking. She still wants to clear the names of everyone involved.

Nearby, Ashley and Abby meet up for a chat. Abby suggests that Stitch is ready for another baby. They’re putting the past behind them. Back at the penthouse, Mariah arrives and brings up the paternity test. Chelsea tells Mariah she can have some paid vacation days and she departs.

Once Mariah is gone, Chelsea quizzes Chloe about Bella’s paternity. Chloe insists that Kevin isn’t the father. She stands by her claims that it was a guy in California. After Chloe gets a call about the DNA news, she heads out. A short time later, Chloe and Kevin stare at the results together.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Nick (Joshua Morrow) will talk to Dylan (Steve Burton) about Adam’s (Justin Hartley) case. At Dylan and Sharon’s (Case) place, Nick mentions Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) journal entries. He realizes that the real ones could still be out there and Dylan agrees. Nick thinks that could be a game-changer.

Dylan says the investigation is closed and they discuss how Adam has lost his determination. Nick suggests that Chelsea won’t stop fighting for her husband. Sharon comes in with Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) and Sully. Dylan tells Sully to give Nick a kiss before he goes down for a nap.

The topic of a family trip comes up and Dylan thinks camping sounds like fun. Nick laughs as he heads for the door. Once they’re alone, Dylan tells Sharon that he’s secretly continuing the investigation.

Sharon decides to go along with Dylan’s camping idea and manages to talk Mariah into it. Later, Dylan and Faith have fun pitching tents in the woods. Mariah and Sharon look like they’d rather be anywhere else.

Nick stops by the penthouse and wants to know what Chelsea is up to. He thinks she’s plotting something with Adam. Y&R rumors hint that Chelsea and Adam’s plan could hit a few snags, but let’s hope they can get the outcome they’re looking for. Adam needs his freedom ASAP!
