‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday April 12: Victor Gets Troubling News – Billy’s Deposition Incites Victoria’s Rage – Summer Takes Kevin’s Advice

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, April 12, tease that Billy (Jason Thompson) will prepare to be deposed. At Newman Enterprises, Leslie (Angell Conwell) arrives and Victoria thanks her for helping out. Michael (Christian LeBlanc) offers to give her updates on the case, but Leslie thinks she’s good to go. Billy swears to tell the truth and Victoria gives him a glare.

Billy explains how he found out about Passkey and talk turns to his coma. When Billy says he only came back for Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and their children, Victoria insists that’s a lie. Meanwhile, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) begs Jack (Peter Bergman) to keep quiet about her drinking and the accident. She vows to tell the family once she gets help.

Jack doesn’t like the idea of lying to cover up Nikki’s mistakes, but he agrees if she’ll go to an AA meeting. Nikki goes along with the plan. After the meeting, Jack takes Nikki to a suite at the athletic club. When Jack realizes he missed calls from Billy and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), Nikki tells him it’s OK to go.

Jack gets rid of the alcohol from the mini-bar and heads off. Later, Nikki falls asleep and dreams about Victor breaking out of prison. They kiss and Nikki wakes up to hear a knock at the door. Room service delivers some tea.

At Crimson Lights, Natalie (Mara McCaffray) sits with Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart). They discuss their frozen assets and consider the problems Summer (Hunter King) could cause for them. Summer is with Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) nearby, so Kevin decides to talk to her.

Kevin points out that Summer is in a tight spot, but he thinks there’s a way out. He suggests Summer should urge Victoria to take Jack’s deal. Kevin returns to Mariah and Natalie. They all mull over what they’ll do if they get a big payoff from Passkey. Natalie gets a little flirty with Kevin as she describes what she’d buy.

Summer finds Phyllis at Newman and they discuss Kevin’s suggestion. Summer thinks she can convince Victoria to accept the deal. Phyllis isn’t sure about that. She insists there’s only one solution. Summer gripes that she can’t just lie. She says she’s not like her mom.

In the office, Victoria lashes out at Billy for choosing Passkey over his family. Billy and Michael leave the room as Summer bursts in. She states that Victoria should take the deal. Luca backs Summer up and mentions that it would finally end the war. Victoria won’t go for it. Summer and Luca head back to Crimson Lights. Luca thinks Summer has no choice but to tell the truth.

Phyllis comforts a distraught Billy with a hug. During her deposition, Phyllis says that Victor (Eric Braeden) stole Jabot’s money through blackmail and she wanted to get it back. She claims that’s why she fought so hard for Passkey. Afterwards, Victoria grills Phyllis about Billy. Phyllis snaps that Victoria doesn’t deserve Billy anymore.

At the athletic club, Jack argues with Billy about lying during his deposition. Billy rants about how he doesn’t need saving. That goes for Phyllis, too. Jack complains and Billy shouts that his brother doesn’t protect Phyllis. He feels like Jack is useless to her.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Ian (Ray Wise) will drop some hints about Victor keeping an open mind. In prison, Victor wonders if Ian has a plan to get out of there. Ian gives a cryptic reply and Victor points out how his previous escape attempts have failed.

When the warden appears, he orders Ian back to his cell. He also gives Victor the news that a guard attacked him, but he’s been fired. Victor is curious about who bribed this guard. Was it Ian? The warden doesn’t have any answers. It looks like Victor will just have to stay on guard. Y&R rumors indicate that more trouble is brewing. Stick with the CBS soap to see what’s coming up.
