‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday May 5: Adam Stunned by Sage’s Letter – Abby Says Max Started Fire, Stitch Furious – Luca Keeps Tabs on Victoria

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, May 5, tease that all eyes will be on Sharon (Sharon Case) as she prepares to tell Nick (Joshua Morrow) something important. At the park, Sharon gives Dylan (Steve Burton) a nervous look. She blurts out that Nick isn’t alone because they’re all there for him. Everyone else agrees.

The memorial service breaks up and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) questions Dr. Gates’ (Alicia Coppola) presence. Dr. Gates says Victor (Eric Braeden) wants to make amends, but Victoria doesn’t buy it. She thinks Victor just wants them all to grovel and she won’t do it. Adam (Justin Hartley) backs up Victoria.

In prison, Marisa (Sofia Pernas) tries to make Victor see the light when it comes to Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva). She says Luca is just using Summer to get his hooks in at Newman. He wants to sit in Victor’s chair. Victor brushes off the threat, but Marisa persists.

Victor urges Marisa to pass along a message to Noah (Robert Adamson). If Noah and the rest of the family apologizes, Victor is willing to offer his forgiveness. He states that they should take him up on it or they’ll regret it later.

After Marisa leaves, Dr. Gates comes back to the state pen. She says attending the service was a mistake, but Victor thinks it showed her that you can’t walk away from your family. Victor opens up about his own father.

Luca’s informant stops by his suite with a large envelope. He gives Luca the news that Victoria was seen at Hank’s Bar. Luca is disappointed that his lackey didn’t learn more info. He implies that Victoria could have a weak spot.

At the athletic club, Lily (Christel Khalil) grills Max (Jared Breeze) and Charlie (Aidan Clark) about pulling the fire alarm. Devon (Bryton James) appears and says there’s a real fire. A short time later, they get updates from the fire chief. The computer servers have been destroyed, but he plans on finding out what started the blaze.

Abby (Melissa Ordway) takes Stitch (Sean Carrigan) aside and accuses Max of setting it. She mentions how she asked Dylan to get the security tapes and then a fire broke out in the same office. Abby doesn’t think it’s a coincidence.

At Dylan and Sharon’s place, he praises her for her kind words to Nick earlier. Nick shows up and Dylan leaves for the club. Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) will is on Nick’s mind. He wants Sharon to come to the reading. Sharon seems rattled, but Nick thinks it will give her some closure.

Dylan arrives at the club to investigate the fire and wants to talk to Max. Stitch is annoyed that Max is being accused. The father and son head up to a suite. Max insists he had nothing to do with the fire. He swears it’s true and Stitch says he believes him.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Summer (Hunter King) will chat with Luca about Dr. Gates coming to the memorial. In a suite, Summer notes that Victoria wasn’t happy about the doc being there. Luca starts grilling Summer and she wonders why he’s so curious. Luca confesses that he went to see Victor. Summer asks why and Luca claims it was about her protection. Summer sighs that she wishes her family could understand what she sees in him.

At Newman, Michael (Christian LeBlanc) reads Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) will. Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) gets the necklace that Nick gave Sage on their wedding day. Sully gets the vintage car that Victor presented to Christian. Sage’s estate goes to Nick and in a letter, she says she loves him and thanks them for the memories.

Michael gives Adam a letter that’s not to be read by anyone else. Adam once again offers his condolences to Nick. Once the reading is over, Victoria and Nick discuss Sharon’s outburst at the memorial. They consider the possibility that Sharon was planning on saying something else.

At the penthouse, Adam opens Sage’s letter and is stunned to learn she knew the truth about Christian. Sage thanks Adam for making sure the test results said Nick was the father. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) finds out what’s in the letter and urges Adam to stay quiet. She doesn’t think they should hurt Nick.

Adam ponders what Sage wanted to tell him when she called before the accident. He shrugs that whatever it was died with Sage. Adam lights the letter on fire and it slowly burns. Of course, we know a juicy secret like this is bound to get out eventually. Y&R rumors hint that it’s really going to shake things up. Stick with the CBS soap to see how and when it will happen.
