‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday June 9: Paul Knows Who Bribed Lab Tech – Ian Provokes Brawl with Victor – Luca Shows Victoria Shocking Info On Travis

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, June 9, tease that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will urge Nick (Joshua Morrow) to back off. At Hank’s bar, Nick doesn’t think Victoria should be hanging around there. Awkward introductions are exchanged between Nick and Travis (Michael Roark).

After some bickering, Victoria insists on talking about this with Nick in private. She’ll promise Travis that she’ll return for the rest of their dance. Meanwhile, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) argues with Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva). Luca indicates that neither of Summer’s (Hunter King) parents can scare him off. Phyllis points out that she took down Victor (Eric Braeden) and she could come after Luca, too.

Elsewhere, Paul (Doug Davidson) and Dylan (Steve Burton) speak with the dead lab tech’s girlfriend. She admits that her beau said something about having rich friends. He claimed it was better than winning the lottery. Dylan gets a phone call and reveals that they’ve learned the name of the person behind the bribe.

Nearby, Nick wants Victoria to consider the possibility that Travis is working for Victor. Victoria maintains that she was the deceptive one in this romance. She feels like Victor is the only man with an agenda. Nick isn’t certain of that and says Luca told him about Victoria’s meetings with Travis.

Later, Nick finds Phyllis and they discuss Summer’s relationship with Luca. They agree that they’ll watch out for her. Phyllis wants to make sure Luca doesn’t take advantage of their daughter. She thinks they should let Luca believe he won this battle.

If they welcome Luca into the family with open arms, maybe he’ll run away. Luca might see that he can’t gain control without dealing with the whole Newman clan. Nick is intrigued and thinks it’s worth a shot.

In the prison infirmary, Meredith (Alicia Coppola) and Victor (Eric Braeden) get dressed after another romp. Meredith sighs that Adam (Justin Hartley) is the one who belongs in the state pen, not Victor. Ian (Ray Wise) arrives and hints at info he wants to spill. Meredith calls the guard instead.

Afterwards, Ian tells Victor that he’ll be testifying against him in court. He suggests he’s using it as his ticket out while Victor can spend more time with Meredith. Victor is furious and starts throwing punches. The fight is eventually broken up and Ian is taken to the infirmary. He tells Meredith that he has evidence against Victor. Ian says Victor framed Adam and he feels confident that Meredith already knows the truth deep down.

Victor complains to the warden about Ian’s plot against him. He claims Ian has teamed up with Adam and Michael (Christian LeBlanc). The warden snaps that Victor is moving to solitary confinement and he’ll have no more infirmary privileges.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Michael will deliver some important news to Adam and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). At the penthouse, Michael notes that Ian insists on giving his statement in court. After taking a call from Paul, Michael says that the lab tech will be unable to testify. Adam figures he’s dead and Michael confirms it. They ponder the idea that the suicide could be an indication of guilt on the lab tech’s part.

Michael states that he’ll work on getting the charges dropped. In a suite at the club, Michael tells Dylan and Paul that they need to forget about all of this. They reply that there’s a new development. The person behind the bribery wasn’t Victor…

At Newman Enterprises, Victoria grills Luca about Travis. She wonders why Luca was keeping tabs on her. Luca pulls out his tablet and shows her pictures of Travis in a suit. He admits that Travis grew up poor, but he eventually became a wealthy Wall Street guy. He traded commodities and focused on oil.

Luca urges Victoria to take a look at all of his information and realize that Travis has been out to destroy her. Y&R rumors hint that Victoria won’t be sure what to believe by the time Luca fills her in on everything he knows. Has Travis just been running from his old life or has he truly targeted Victoria? Time will tell, but it’s always wise to doubt Luca’s version of any story. Stick with the CBS soap for updates on Victoria’s next move.
