“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, July 28, tease that Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Natalie (Mara McCaffray) will set some intriguing updates from Dylan (Steve Burton). At home, Dylan relays that there’s been another sighting of Victor’s (Eric Braeden) accomplice. Natalie and Kevin also learn that Mariah (Camryn Grimes) isn’t moving out after all.
Once they’re alone, Sharon (Sharon Case) quizzes Mariah about jealousy. Mariah hints that Natalie is the one who’s envious of her connection with Kevin. However, Mariah admits that their friendship isn’t the same now that Natalie is in the picture.
At the police station, Paul (Doug Davidson) informs Ashley (Eileen Davidson) that Dr. Neville (Michael E. Knight) confessed to bribing the lab tech. Ash insists that Dr. Neville is a good man who saved her life. Dylan speaks with Paul about Adam’s (Justin Hartley) case. Paul maintains that it’s all over. Adam took a plea deal and that’s that.
Dylan believes Adam is innocent and plans on investigating anyway. Paul lashes out at Dylan and declares that he’s the one who gives the orders. Dylan protests that Victor’s partner must have betrayed him. Paul won’t listen to his complaints, so Dylan storms out.

At the hospital, Abby (Melissa Ordway) grills Stitch (Sean Carrigan) about the baby shower gifts. She wants to know why they were donated without her consent. Stitch indicates that he thought it would be too painful for Abby to deal with them. She’s upset that he didn’t even ask.
Stitch says the presents were donated to the pediatric wing. Abby takes them back and opens them up at home. As Abby reads the cards, she breaks down in tears and starts throwing things. Ashley arrives and consoles her daughter. She suggests that maybe Stitch was right. The gifts aren’t exactly uplifting. Ashley urges Abby to back off the new baby idea until Stitch is ready.
Abby returns to the hospital and exchanges apologies with Stitch. He feels like he’ll want another child once Max (Jared Breeze) is doing better. They share a hug and head off to donate the gifts again.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Michael (Christian LeBlanc) will refuse to carry out Adam’s wishes. At the state pen, Michael admits he didn’t tell Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) that visits were off the table. He recalls making the mistake of pushing away Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman).
Adam gets irritated, but Michael maintains that he needs Chelsea. They have to work together. If Adam still wants to let Chelsea go, then he’ll have to talk to her on his own. Later, Michael finds Chelsea and urges her to pay Adam a visit.

At Crimson Lights, Chelsea runs into Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and notices she has a sippy cup in her purse. Chloe confesses that she has a daughter named Bella. Chelsea is surprised and wonders if Chloe is back to tell Kevin (Greg Rikaart) that he’s the father. When Kevin arrives with Natalie, he takes Chloe aside for a private chat.
Chelsea tells Natalie that Chloe is Kevin’s ex-wife. On the patio, Kevin bickers with Chloe about not staying in touch. She says they’re not married and she doesn’t answer to him. Chloe has a flashback of sex with Kevin. He suggests that Chloe seems to be avoiding him.
Michael breaks up their argument and Chloe slips away. Kevin is convinced that Chloe has a secret. He talks to Esther (Kate Linder) and manages to find out which hotel Chloe is staying at. Kevin locates Chloe’s room and knocks on the door. Chloe tries to send Kevin away, but he hears Bella coughing. Once Chloe lets him in, she introduces Kevin to her daughter. She claims he’s not the father.
Kevin bends down to talk to Bella. He says she looks like her sister, Delia (Sophie Pollono). Back at Sharon’s house, Natalie tells Mariah about Chloe’s sudden appearance. She wants details on Chloe’s story. Mariah is shocked by the news of Chloe’s return. Sharon points out that Chloe was the love of Kevin’s life. Natalie is concerned that Kevin still has feelings for his ex.
In prison, Chelsea stops by to see Adam. He tells her she shouldn’t come anymore. Adam doesn’t expect Chelsea to wait for 30 years. Chelsea won’t abandon Adam. She wants to fight for his freedom. Adam admits that he needs Chelsea to get through this. They share a kiss.Dylan eventually shows up to tell Adam that he’s still looking into leads on Victor’s accomplice.

He intends on finding out why this mystery woman wanted to bring Adam down. Meanwhile, Michael pushes Paul to keep searching for answers that could free Adam. Paul refuses to investigate any further.
Fortunately, Dylan seems determined to crack this case. Y&R rumors hint that some interesting clues could surface soon. When will Dylan finally put it all together? Stick with the CBS soap to see the twists and turns ahead.
