‘The Young and The Restless’ Spoilers Thursday January 7: Sage Blasts Dr. Anderson, Tells Nick She’s Trouble – Victor Intrigued Wants Billy’s Deal – Abby Struggles with Max Situation

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, January 7, tease that Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will share a warm moment. At Crimson Lights, Kevin gives Mariah updates on his chat with Natalie. She’s agreed to wait on finding other investors, at least until Billy (Burgess Jenkins) gets out of surgery. Mariah fears Natalie won’t hold up her end of the bargain, but Kevin changes the subject.

Kevin slides a small present across the table and wishes Mariah a happy birthday. Mariah opens it and finds a toy Ferrari inside. Kevin says Mariah can get a real one when they strike it rich. Mariah thanks Kevin for the kind gesture.

Elsewhere, Nick (Joshua Morrow) tells Sage (Kelly Sullivan) that Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is supposed to go to Sharon’s (Sharon Case) place for Mariah’s surprise party. Sage agrees to take Faith so Nick can check in with Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Nick heads on his way.

At the hospital, Victor (Eric Braeden) rants about Billy and the Abbotts. Jack (Peter Bergman) thinks it’s ridiculous that Victor can’t even show some compassion at a time like this. Victor keeps trying to find out more about Billy’s venture.

When Jack and Victoria have to step away, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) hints that she’s not pleased about Victor’s questions. She claims that Victor is only digging around because Jack has shown interest in the project. Victor says he doesn’t mind watching Jack and Phyllis squirm. Later, Phyllis tells Jack he’d better get the investment money to Kevin soon.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Victoria will open up to Nick about how helpless she feels. After she pours out her heart, Nick hugs Victoria and offers support. Victor goes to Crimson Lights and pumps Kevin for details about his venture. Kevin reluctantly divulges a little info and Victor is intrigued.

Victor suggests that Kevin shouldn’t wait around on Billy. After Victor is gone, Mariah says Victor might be able to make this happen for Kevin. Mariah gets a text and rushes off. Jack comes in and tells Kevin he’s ready to invest. When Kevin acts weird about it, Jack asks if there’s another offer.

At Sharon and Dylan’s (Steve Burton) place, Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) shows up with news about Sharon’s meds. When Dr. Anderson says Sharon should change them, Dylan and Sharon aren’t sure it’s a good idea. Sharon has been doing great lately. Dr. Anderson insists that it’s what’s best.

Dr. Anderson starts fishing for information about Nick and Sage. Sharon says that they’ve moved back in together. Sage brings Faith over for the party. While Faith helps Sharon in the kitchen, Sage holds Sully and asks Dr. Anderson why she’s so involved in Sharon’s personal life. Dr. Anderson wonders why Sage cares. Sage hints that being so hands-on isn’t professional.

Sharon comes back for Sully and leaves the room again. Dr. Anderson suggests that it isn’t good for Sage to be spending so much time with Sharon’s baby. She adds that Sage still needs time alone and she told Nick not to move back in with her. Sage flips out and tells Dr. Anderson that she isn’t her therapist or her friend. Sage yells that Dr. Anderson needs to stay out of it.

After Dr. Anderson leaves, Sage vents to Sharon about Dr. Anderson’s controlling nature. She’s inserting herself into Sage’s marriage. Sharon points out that all of their lives are connected. Sage still seems suspicious. Later, Mariah arrives. Sharon and Faith shout, “Surprise!” They wish her a happy birthday.

At the hospital, Dr. Anderson finds Nick and fills him in on her encounter with Sage. Dr. A insists that letting Sage around Sully could be dangerous. Nick agrees to keep an eye on her. Dr. Anderson walks away as Sage enters. Sage urges Nick not to listen to Dr. Anderson’s advice. Nearby, Phyllis and Victoria hear that Billy suffered cardiac arrest during surgery. Billy doesn’t have much brain activity at the moment.

At the police station, Paul (Doug Davidson) tells Stitch (Sean Carrigan) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) that Jenna died in a car crash while she was on the phone. That’s why Max (Jared Breeze) is blaming Abby. Abby tries to explain why she called, but Max is still upset with her. Paul takes Max to see the social worker. While they’re gone, Abby tells Stitch that Max should stay with them.

Paul comes back and Stitch says he’ll keep his son. Stitch shares a moment alone with Max and gets him to open up. Stitch lets Max know that he’ll be there for him. Meanwhile, Abby confesses to Paul that this has thrown her for a loop. Paul mentions that there’ll be an adjustment period. Dylan pops in and suggests that Abby just needs to have patience.

Dylan and Paul discuss Billy’s case. They wonder if someone might have hit Billy without knowledge of the incident. Abby meets up with Stitch and Max at the athletic club. Stitch tells Abby that Max wants to stay at home with just his dad for a few days. Abby gets upset and rushes out. Stitch follows to talk to her and Max vanishes. Y&R rumors hint that Stitch and Abby will have a tough time dealing with their latest obstacle. Stick with the CBS soap to see if their marriage could be in jeopardy.
