‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday January 4: Billy’s Condition Critical, Phyllis Blames Jack and Victoria – Noah Feels Guilty Wants To Confess, Neville Says Doctors Will Kill Billy

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, January 4, tease that Billy (Burgess Jenkins) will face an uncertain future. At the hospital, Jill (Jess Walton) gets upset because everyone seems to be giving up on Billy. She begs Billy to wake up.

In the hall, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) scolds Jack (Peter Bergman) for refusing to give Billy the money. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) appears and says that Billy’s choices landed him in that hospital bed. The blame lies on Billy alone.

Phyllis defends Billy, but Victoria is fed up with all the drinking and gambling. Phyllis counters that Billy was trying to get the money for his business venture. She adds that Victoria and Jack pushed Billy into this position.

Meanwhile, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor (Eric Braeden) bicker at Newman Enterprises. Nikki thinks Victor should be at the hospital for Victoria’s sake. Victor has no sympathy for Billy and suggests that it’s about time Victoria saw his true colors.

At the police station, Paul (Doug Davidson) wants updates on what Marisa (Sofia Pernas) saw at the scene. Marisa has a flashback of Noah (Robert Adamson) driving away. She tells Paul that it was dark and she barely even saw Billy. Marisa chooses to protect Noah and claims she didn’t see anyone else.

At Crimson Lights, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) talk about their concern for Billy. Noah shows up and gets the news that Billy had been beaten. Kevin fears that Billy was betting so he could raise his investment money. Noah assures Kevin that the only person to blame is the one who hit Billy with the car. Marisa arrives and Noah learns she found Billy.

Noah and Marisa speak privately for a moment. Marisa hints that Noah undoubtedly has a good reason for not coming forward. Noah doesn’t understand and Marisa explains that he backed over Billy. Noah is shocked, but Marisa convinces him that it’s true. Marisa wants Noah to stay tight-lipped, but he insists that he has to go to the police.

Back at the station, Paul mentions that there haven’t been any security cameras in the parking garage since the fire. Kevin brings up the fact that Billy might have been gambling. Paul presses Kevin for more details.

At Jabot, Dr. Neville (Michael E. Knight) urges Ashley (Eileen Davidson) to tell Abby (Melissa Ordway) about Billy. Ashley is hesitant. She doesn’t want to ruin Abby and Stitch’s (Sean Carrigan) honeymoon. Dr. Neville worries that Billy will die. Ashley finally gives in and decides that Abby needs to know about Billy’s condition.

Abby and Stitch are enjoying their honeymoon when they get a call about Billy. Stitch asks about Billy’s prognosis. Ashley says they don’t have to come home yet. Abby and Stitch decide they’re too concerned to stay away. They head back to Genoa City to be there for Billy.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Victor will get an earful from Jill. When Victor and Nikki show up to support Victoria, Jill flies into a rage. She insists that Victor doesn’t care about Billy and he doesn’t need to be there. After the confrontation, Victoria tells Victor and Nikki that she wants to find the person who did this to Billy. Victor says his investigators are looking into it.

Victor hints that Jack is responsible since he tossed Billy aside. Jack argues with Victor before storming out. Victoria thinks Victor is just making all of this worse for the Abbotts. Dr. Neville arrives with Ashley and sneaks a peek at Billy’s file. He makes a picture of the contents.

Jill comes in and discusses Billy with Dr. Neville. Dr. Shelby (Terrell Tilford) walks in and declares that Dr. Neville has no standing in this hospital. Ashley defends Dr. Neville, but he chooses to leave. Back at Jabot, Dr. Neville pulls up the picture of Billy’s file and says they’re going to kill him. It seems Dr. Neville doesn’t approve of Billy’s current treatment plan.

Outside Billy’s room, Noah finds Victoria and announces that he has something to tell her about what happened to Billy. Marisa follows behind and watches nervously. Billy’s monitors start beeping and Victoria calls out for a doctor.

While everyone else is focused on Billy, Victor tells Noah he needs to forget about what he was going to divulge. Noah’s confession won’t save Billy. Y&R rumors indicate that Noah will wrestle with guilt over this situation. Stick with the CBS soap to see when the truth will come out.
