‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, December 5: Nick Blasts Sharon and Dylan – Hilary Shows Off Power Over Mariah – Kevin’s Good Deed Backfires

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, December 5, tease that Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will lash out at Hilary (Mishael Morgan) for twisting Dylan’s (Steve Burton) interview. Hilary won’t care about Mariah’s complaints. She’ll insist that she knows what works and that’s why she’s the boss.

Of course, Hilary is forgetting that Devon’s (Bryton James) money paid for this venture. Hilary may enjoy ordering everyone around, but she’s not really in charge. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers suggest that Mariah will soon gripe to Devon about this. She’ll feel like Hilary is out of control.

Devon will agree that Hilary has crossed the line one too many times. Y&R spoilers state that Devon will chew Hilary out for editing the footage to make it more scandalous. When Hilary sees nothing wrong with her actions, Devon will choose to fire her. He’s tired of putting up with her mudslinging and manipulation.

This news isn’t going to sit well with Hilary. It sounds like we’re going to see a huge confrontation. Will Devon and Hilary’s marriage survive? We’ll have to wait and see, but it’s clear that trouble is brewing. Hilary’s response to her firing could cause additional issues. Her behavior could easily drive Devon to divorce her. Meanwhile, another pairing will encounter some conflict. “The Young and the Restless” fans know that Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) don’t always see eye to eye. They’ve been blowing up at each other lately, but they usually find a way to work through the drama. However, there may come a time when one of them gets pushed too far.

Chloe just agreed to move in with Kevin, so he’s ready to put their plan in motion. Kevin will decide to help Chloe by packing up some of her things at the penthouse. Unfortunately, Kevin’s good deed will backfire. Chloe will flip out when she learns Kevin has been digging around her closet.

We can’t forget that Chloe has some buried secrets. She’s a private person and she may worry about getting too close to Kevin. Y&R rumors hint that this move could prove risky. Elsewhere, Nick (Joshua Morrow) will berate Sharon (Sharon Case) and Dylan (Steve Burton) for leaving him out of the loop on Christian’s food allergies. He’ll argue that he should’ve been told about something so serious.

Nick is partially to blame for shoving Dylan and Sharon out of Christian’s life. Perhaps he should’ve let them provide a little guidance. Luckily, some form of peace is coming up for this crew.
