“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, December 12, tease that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will be excited about promoting her new line on GC Buzz. At the design studio, Sharon (Sharon Case) makes a snarky remark about Hilary (Mishael Morgan). Chelsea wonders if Sharon can behave herself. Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) suggests that everyone can get along for one segment.
At GC Buzz headquarters, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) does a trial run of the show. Devon (Bryton James) thinks Mariah did great, but Hilary isn’t pleased. She surprises Hilary and Devon by announcing that GC Buzz is going live today.
Hilary warns Mariah that this is going to be a disaster. Modeling in heels on live television certainly sounds like a catastrophe waiting to happen. Devon urges Hilary to back off and let Mariah do her thing. Hilary wants Devon to let her step in, but he refuses.
Chelsea, Sharon and Chloe show up to tape their segment, but they learn Mariah will be hosting it live. Sharon gives Mariah some massive heels to go with the outfit she’s modeling. Hilary sneaks over later and grabs one of the heels. She tries to damage it, but Sharon stops her. They get into an argument over Dylan’s (Steve Burton) interview. Sharon is glad Mariah is stealing the spotlight.

At the tack house, Summer (Hunter King) drops by to see Nick (Joshua Morrow). She notices that he seems overwhelmed. Nick has dishes piled up in the sink and Summer can hear Christian screaming on the baby monitor. Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is behind on her book report, too. Summer wants to pitch in, but Nick thinks he’s got everything under control.
Summer brings up her fears about Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). She’s concerned about her mom and doesn’t know what went down with Jack (Peter Bergman). Summer asks Nick to cheer Phyllis up, so he heads over to Jabot.
Michael (Christian LeBlanc) comforts a crying Phyllis in the park. She notes that things are really over with Jack. Michael discusses the trouble at Fenmore’s. He knows Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) is hiding a few facts. However, Michael hopes a nice Christmas will lift everyone’s spirits. Phyllis admits she might be able to help out Lauren.
In Jack’s office, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) reveals that she hired a new programmer. Ravi (Abhi Sinha) walks in and wows Jack with technical jargon. They offer to help with whatever he needs. Ravi seems infatuated with Ashley and Jack notices. He mentions it later, but Ashley laughs it off. Jack also brings up Fenmore’s and his desire to snatch it up.
Nick stops by Phyllis’ office and gets updates on where things stand with Jack. He asks if this is the best place for Phyllis, but she says she’s way ahead of him. Phyllis talks about her plan to help Lauren and Nick is excited for her. When Phyllis walks by Jack’s office, she hears him talking about the takeover plot.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Michael will chat about Chloe. At Crimson Lights, Kevin confesses that Chloe had a weird outburst when he tried to help her pack. He enjoys living with Chloe and Bella though.
Summer spots Kevin and they discuss Mariah. Kevin suggests that Mariah is OK with his living arrangement. She’ll always be his friend. Kevin decides to watch GC Buzz, so he flips it on. Faith does the same back at the tack house. She’s thrilled by the news that Mariah is hosting.
Mariah kicks off the segment and Chelsea rambles about spring. When the modeling portion of the show comes up, Mariah struts out and trips. She takes an epic tumble and everyone looks horrified for her. Y&R rumors hint that Mariah will have an interesting reaction to this mishap. Stay tuned to see how this mess turns out.
