‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, December 12: Hilary Threatens Mariah, Warns of Looming Disaster – Phyllis Moves Forward, Nick Provides Support

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, December 12, tease that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will give Nick (Joshua Morrow) updates on her recent realization. Despite Jack’s (Peter Bergman) insistence that it wasn’t going to happen, Phyllis was relentless in her fight to get him back. Now she’s finally determined that this battle is over.

Phyllis waved the white flag and Jack bid her farewell. He’s moving on with his life, so Phyllis knows she needs to do the same. When Nick hears the news, he’ll ask if Jabot is really the best place for Phyllis. He’ll point out that Jack’s office is right down the hall, but Phyllis will indicate that she’s way ahead of him.

Perhaps Phyllis will officially leave Jabot and focus on helping Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman). Whatever the case, Phyllis will want to steer clear of Jack for a while. She needs to explore new opportunities.

Elsewhere, Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will get everyone hyped up for a segment on GC Buzz. She’ll turn to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sharon (Sharon Case) as she asks, “Are we ready to slay, ladies?” All three of them will fist bump and prepare for some successful Chelsea 2.0 promotion.

Of course, things rarely go according to plan on “The Young and the Restless.” It looks like Chelsea, Chloe and Sharon could get caught in Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) latest scheme. Devon (Bryton James) convinced Mariah (Camryn Grimes) to serve as the show’s new host. Naturally, Hilary isn’t happy about it. She believes she’s the only one who deserves that spot.

Hilary will make sure Mariah knows where she stands. Monday’s Y&R preview video features Hilary saying, “It will be a disaster, so I suggest you walk away now.” Mariah will try to ignore Hilary’s threats and fulfill her promise to Devon. She doesn’t want to leave him hanging or force him to use Hilary again.

Mariah will move forward with the broadcast, but Hilary’s sabotage will put it in jeopardy. Will this truly be a catastrophe? “The Young and the Restless” rumors hint that Hilary’s sneakiness could cause some chaos.
