‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 29: Chelsea Joins Adam with Connor, Chloe Freaks – Phyllis Exposes Jill’s Blackmail – Luca Arrested

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, August 29, tease that Adam (Justin Hartley) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will determine that they have to trust Victor (Eric Braeden). At the penthouse, Adam offers Chelsea reassurance via video chat. Downstairs, Chelsea seems at ease. She embraces Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), which draws some suspicion.

Chloe suggests that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) might want to get her phone back before she leaves. Chloe says she saw Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) playing with it, but Nikki insists she has hers. Back upstairs, Chelsea joyfully tells Connor that they’re going to see Daddy.

Later, Chloe heads up to check on Chelsea. She’s shocked to find that Chelsea and Connor are both gone. Meanwhile, Dylan (Steve Burton) has his officers search Victor’s place from top to bottom. There’s no sign of Adam, but Dylan is sure Victor was involved. A call comes in about Chelsea and Connor. Dylan sends out an APB and an Amber Alert.

At Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) house, she begins undressing as Travis (Michael Roark) kisses her. Suddenly, Billy (Jason Thompson) lets himself in. He’s stunned by the scantily clad lovers. Billy claims he needs Johnny’s book, but Travis is skeptical. Victoria leaves the room to retrieve what Billy came for. Billy wonders if Travis just wants Victoria for her money. They argue until Victoria returns.

After Billy heads out, Travis asks if this is how it’s always going to be. He’s concerned about Victoria’s relationship with her ex. Victoria insists that she’s not interested in a romance with Billy. Her future is with Travis. They share more kisses and Travis deadbolts the door. He adds a chair in front of it for good measure. Victoria and Travis enjoy some sofa sex in peace.

At Summer’s (Hunter King) apartment, Jack (Peter Bergman) wonders what’s going on. Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) assures Jack that there’s nothing to worry about. Summer insists Jack should call the cops. When Jack grabs his phone, Luca grips Summer’s neck. He snaps that Jack should put the phone down. Luca adds that he doesn’t want to hurt Summer.

Jack follows orders and Summer gives him updates on the sabotage news. Luca is upset that Summer is betraying him. Jack and Summer try to get through to Luca. They suggest he’s not a bad guy. Luca releases Summer and Jack calls the police. As officers take Luca away, he promises Summer that he truly loved her.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) shows up and consoles Summer. She hates that she put the family in jeopardy. Jack calls Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), but there’s no answer. At Top of the Tower, Phyllis tries to calm Mariah (Camryn Grimes) down when she blames Daniel (Michael Graziadei) for Cassie’s (Camryn Grimes) death. Daniel explains what really happened and Phyllis exits.

Mariah chats with Daniel about Cassie as well as Kevin (Greg Rikaart). Daniel thinks it’s good that Kevin has a friend like Mariah. She points out that Kevin is too focused on Chloe to notice. Mariah fears Chloe will hurt Kevin and Daniel thinks her concern is a Cassie-ish quality.

Phyllis gets in the elevator and is surprised to see Billy. She mutters something about Billy’s feelings for Victoria and dashes off. Billy rushes after her and insists he wanted Phyllis. She’s the one who chose to end it. Things get heated and Phyllis admits that she had to. Jill (Jess Walton) found out and forced Phyllis to go back to Jack.

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Dylan will wonder how Chelsea vanished with Connor. At the penthouse, Chloe and Kevin suggest they aren’t sure either. Over at the cabin, Chelsea is thrilled to be reunited with her husband. Adam insists they don’t have to be apart ever again.

Adam and Chelsea lay out the rest of their relocation plan. They’re glad Chelsea was able to escape undetected. She used a secret passageway. Adam kisses Chelsea and lets her know that they can do this.
