‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 29: Adam Urges Chelsea to Trust Victor – Summer Panics as Luca Loses It – Billy’s ‘Tricky’ Encounter

“The Young and the Restless” for Monday, August 29, tease that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will face a flurry of emotions. She’s thrilled to know that Adam (Justin Hartley) is safe and she’s excited about the possibility of having him back in her life. However, fear will soon get the best of Chelsea. She’ll have doubts about Victor’s (Eric Braeden) ability to come through for Adam.

Adam realizes that all of this is risky, but he’s trying to have faith in his father. He’ll urge Chelsea to do the same. Adam will point out that they don’t have much of a choice. If Chelsea and Adam want a future together, they’re going to have to trust Victor. Chelsea will agree that it’s the only way out of this mess.

Meanwhile, Billy (Jason Thompson) will get stuck in a mess of his own. Y&R viewers can expect some awkward moments when Billy walks in on a half-dressed Travis (Michael Roark) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle). This is definitely not a sight Billy expected to see.

Billy has a key to Victoria’s place, but he might want to think about knocking next time. Victoria has every right to move on with a man she cares about. Nevertheless, Billy will likely struggle with envy and embarrassment.

Even though Billy has been pining for Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), part of him is undoubtedly longing for Victoria as well. Old flames never fade away too easily. Stick with “The Young and the Restless” to see how Billy handles the “Tricky” encounter.

At Summer’s (Hunter King) place, things will get tense thanks to Jack’s (Peter Bergman) arrival. Jack will learn that Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) confessed everything to Summer. The shady Santori was behind the oil rig sabotage just like Travis claimed. Unfortunately, Luca has no intention of facing his punishment.

Jack will try to call the cops, but Luca will shout that he should put the phone down. As he tightens his grip on Summer, Luca will hint that he doesn’t want to hurt her. Of course, that means Luca might do it if need be. This situation has certainly escalated quickly.

On the bright side, at least Summer can see Luca for who he really is now. She dodged a bullet! Let’s just hope Summer can get out of this jam unscathed. “The Young and the Restless” rumors hint that Summer will have a bit of a crisis after this. She’ll wonder how she could’ve been so wrong.

Summer will need some time to clear her head after this horrible ordeal. She probably won’t be jumping into another relationship for quite a while. We’ll give you updates as more news emerges.
