‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday August 22: Michael Tells Adam to Plead Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity – Victoria Ponders a Future with Travis

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, August 22, tease that Michael (Christian LeBlanc) will give Adam (Justin Hartley) some legal advice. He’ll insist that Adam needs to plead not guilty by reason of insanity. Y&R viewers know that Adam was hallucinating when he pummeled that guard. The tough part will be getting a judge and potentially a jury to buy it.

Elsewhere, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will talk to Billy (Jason Thompson) about Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) trip to Mexico. She’ll explain that Victoria agreed to visit Travis (Michael Roark) in person and convince him to return with her. Billy will seem surprised by the news. Part of him might even be a little jealous.

Billy claims he wants Phyllis, but he undoubtedly has some lingering feelings for Victoria, too. Victoria and Billy are always going to be connected by their kids as well as their history. That’s never going to change. We’ll just have to wait and see which road “The Young and the Restless” takes.

Meanwhile, Travis won’t want to let Victoria walk out of his life. Travis has been pining for Victoria during his travels. He still thinks they could be great together if Victoria would just cave in.

After they make love, Travis will once again ask Victoria to come away with him. He’ll want to show Victoria the world and enjoy their romance every day. Victoria would love to take Travis up on his offer, but there’s a big obstacle. She can’t leave her children behind, but she doesn’t want to take them from Billy either.

Nevertheless, Y&R spoilers say Victoria will mull over what it would be like to start fresh. She cares deeply for Travis and hates to give up on their future. There’s just no way to solve the family situation. Victoria’s kids need their father.

Perhaps Travis will give Victoria some time to think about her options. Travis will eventually end up back in Genoa City, so that might be part of the deal. He could agree to return if Victoria will at least consider his suggestion. Regardless, it should be interesting to see what’s ahead for “Tricky.”
