‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Mariah Suspects Hilary Caused Fall – Devon Gets Shocking News – Nick Comforts Upset Chelsea

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, December 13, tease that Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will manage to rise to her feet after her terrible tumble. At GC Buzz, Mariah gets her act together enough to wrap up the show. Sharon (Sharon Case), Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Devon (Bryton James) all check on Mariah after the cameras stop rolling.

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) talks about how horrible it looked, but adds that it’s not Mariah’s fault. She hints that Devon forced her into before she was ready. Mariah snaps that Hilary can have her spot back. She wants to go home, so Sharon leaves with her. Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) calls for updates and Sharon assures her that Mariah is fine.

Chelsea is bummed that their promotion turned into a spectacle. She hates that Mariah tripped, but fears this could be bad for Chelsea 2.0 as well. At Sharon’s house, Mariah sulks about her GC Buzz debut. She discovers that her face is swelling from her nosedive. Faith comes by to offer cookies and a hug.

When Faith wonders if something made Mariah fall, the wheels start turning. Mariah recalls Hilary standing nearby with an evil grin. Nick (Joshua Morrow) heads over to Chelsea’s studio and they debate the day’s events. Chelsea feels like it was a disaster, but Nick suggests that any publicity is a good thing.

Nick encourages Chelsea to press on and she thanks him for being there for her. He points out she’s been doing the same for him lately. They embrace and Nick takes off. At Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily’s (Christel Khalil) place, he goes on and on about his physiotherapist. Cane thinks Jessie is amazing at what she does.

Lily gets agitated and leaves the room to take a shower. When she comes back, she’s wearing a doctor’s coat with sexy lingerie underneath. Lily takes the coat off and tells Cane that it’s time for his treatment. He goes along with the idea and they make love. Cane notes that Lily can work miracles. She mentions Jessie and states that she’s obviously helping Cane make progress.

On the patio at Crimson Lights, Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Summer (Hunter King) laugh about the clip of Mariah that went viral. They feel a little guilty for having fun at Mariah’s expense. Summer and Abby make plans for a day at the spa before they exit.

Nearby, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) talks to Chloe about what happened at GC Buzz. He hates that Mariah had to go through such a humiliating ordeal. Kevin suddenly realizes that Chelsea 2.0’s latest line could be affected by the jokes. He wants to support Chloe through this crisis.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Hilary will offer a deal to Devon. At GC Buzz headquarters, Hilary offers to return as the host if Devon will admit he was wrong. Devon suggests that maybe it was too soon for Mariah to take over. An alert comes in on Devon’s phone. He realizes Mariah has the Internet abuzz.

Hilary takes a look at all of the comments online. Everyone is going wild over Mariah’s debut. Hilary is shocked by the news and Devon thinks maybe he made the right choice. Y&R rumors hint that Devon and Hilary’s strife will continue to build. Stay tuned to see what’s in store for them.
