‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Hilary Blows Up at Mariah Over Teleprompter Stunt – Nick and Chelsea Face Awkwardness After Lip Lock

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, December 29, tease that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will realize things might be moving a bit too fast. She locked lips with Nick (Joshua Morrow) and the evening quickly became uncomfortable. Their attraction has been growing steadily, but that doesn’t mean Chelsea was prepared for this moment.

Chelsea will leap up and suggest that she should wake Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois). She’ll think they should go, but Nick will plead with her to stay. He’s not ready to let this night end, especially if it’s just going to fizzle out awkwardly.

Unfortunately, Chelsea will shy away from having any major discussions about where this romance is headed. It appears Chelsea needs some time to process her feelings before she opens up. Next week, “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Chelsea and Nick will finally get around to talking about all of this.

Meanwhile, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will unleash her wrath. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) just pulled off a sneaky stunt and the results were epic. By changing a few lines in the teleprompter, Mariah made sure Hilary’s hosting gig was a total flop. It’s a scenario that Hilary should be familiar with. Her own evil plot led to the same result for Mariah.

Thursday’s Y&R preview video shows Hilary giving Mariah a shove and yelling, “How dare you do this do me!” Mariah will think Hilary had it coming. She’ll argue that it was payback for causing her live TV tumble. Of course, that won’t do much to calm Hilary down. If anything, it will only make her angrier.

Nearby, Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will watch the showdown play out. Kevin won’t exactly be shocked. He’ll point out that Hilary messed with the wrong woman. Kevin knows Mariah better than almost anyone. When somebody crosses the line, Mariah is a force to be reckoned with.

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers state that Hilary’s troubles are just beginning. Mariah’s revenge will seem trivial after Hilary gets updates on some bad news.
