‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, September 23: Billy Blames Jack for Phyllis’ Fall, Wants Him To Pay – Chloe and Kevin Kiss – Stitch Suspicious – Dylan Believes Jack

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, September 23, tease that Billy (Jason Thompson) will lash out at Jack (Peter Bergman). At home, Jack insists Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) fall was an accident. Billy shouts that Jack should stay away from her. Jack promises that he wouldn’t intentionally hurt Phyllis.

Billy pulls out his phone to call for help while Jack asks Phyllis if she can hear him. Paul (Doug Davidson), Dylan (Steve Burton) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) receive news about a woman who’s unconscious at the Abbott estate. Dylan heads over to check it out.

Billy yells that Jack shouldn’t go in the ambulance after what he did to Phyllis. Dylan walks in and hears their argument. He breaks it up and asks what happened. Billy updates him on the staircase conflict he witnessed. He says Phyllis fell and hit her head.

At the park, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) spend some time together. Faith learns she gets to spend the night at Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) place. Talk turns to Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), who has a date with Kevin.

Kevin shows up and Faith starts pestering him for date details. Mariah urges Faith to go get a doughnut so she can speak with Kevin alone. Kevin suggests that he wants to be in Chloe and Bella’s (Cali May Kinder) lives. They debate the issues with the paternity story, but Kevin states that he’s not worried about it.

At the penthouse, Chloe prepares for her date with Kevin. She tries on a dress and speaks to Chelsea about Phyllis’ affair. Chloe hates that Billy gets blamed for everything. She thinks he’s a good dad and there are other sides to the story. Chelsea feels like what Billy did was inexcusable.

Kevin comes over and whisks Chloe away. Chelsea gazes at a picture of herself with Adam (Justin Hartley) before Faith and Mariah show up. Faith scampers upstairs and Chelsea says Mariah should stick around. They discuss Sully and his special connection with Nick (Joshua Morrow).

Chelsea grabs them some ice cream and the topic of Kevin’s date comes up. Mariah just doesn’t want Kevin to get hurt. Chelsea feels like Chloe is still working through some things. She’s trying to determine what’s important in her life.

At the club, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) chat about Phyllis’ affair with Billy. Ash thinks both of her brothers need to run as far away from Phyllis as possible and never look back. Abby hints that Jack deserved to know the truth. They mention their own love lives. Ashley’s is nonexistent and Abby’s spark with Stitch (Sean Carrigan) is gone.

Elsewhere, Chloe and Kevin laugh over cheeseburgers. They’re enjoying their dinner together. Kevin wishes they would’ve done it sooner. He proposes a toast and Chloe eventually gets a little tipsy. Kevin and Chloe share a passionate kiss. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say this couple will continue to bond, but problems will arise.

At the hospital, Phyllis is still unconscious. Jack points out that Summer (Hunter King) is headed over. Stitch gets to work and Phyllis awakens a short time later. She’s jumpy about Jack and has to be sedated. Summer arrives and gets filled in on the accident. She’s concerned about her mother. When Ashley and Abby walk in, they get up to speed in the waiting room.

Nearby, Billy repeats the details of the ordeal to Dylan. Stitch comes out and wonders if this was really an accident based on Phyllis’ agitated state. Paul and Dylan pull Jack aside to grill him. He confesses that he was angry, but he wouldn’t hurt Phyllis. Dylan and Paul suspect that Jack is being honest. When Dylan gripes about Victor (Eric Braeden), Paul insists that they should worry about Phyllis right now.

Ashley spots Billy outside Phyllis’ room. He stares at his love and wants Jack to pay for this. Stitch informs Billy that he can go in if he’d like. Jack comes over and watches Billy move close to Phyllis’ bedside. Billy promises to be there for Phyllis as he kisses her hand. Phyllis starts to stir and Billy welcomes her back.

How will all of this affect Phyllis’ future? Time will tell, but Y&R rumors hint that some shocking moments are in store. Stick with the CBS soap to see what’s next.
